This is the setting page for the YITH wooCommerce Order Tracking. You can find it in "YIT Plugins" menu. You can configure a default carrier name and customize the message that will be shown in WooCommerce order details page.
From admin WooCommerce order page, you can see if the order has already been picked up by the carrier.
From admin WooCommerce order detail page, you can set details about carrier name, track number and date of shipping.
In customer "Orders" page, a button will appear to show tracking of WooCommerce orders that have been shipped.
In customer "Orders" page, you will find details about the shipment of your WooCommerce order.

Installation

Important: First of all, you have to download and activate WooCommerce plugin, which is essential for YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking to be work.

Download and unzip the downloaded file.
Upload the plugin folder into the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress site.
Activate YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking from “Plugins” page.

Configuration

YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking will add a new tab called “Order tracking” in “YIT Plugins” menu item. There, you will find all Yithemes plugins with quick access to plugin setting page.

I always use the same carrier to ship my WooCommerce orders, may I set it as default carrier?

Yes, sure, you can set the carrier name in the settings of YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking and for each new WooCommerce order you will find the field “carrier name” automatically filled with your default carrier.

Can I customise the message I want to send to customers?

You can set your own text for your WooCommerce orders using the specific option available in YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking. You can also use some optional placeholders to specify carrier’s name, tracking code and shipping date.

Is it compatible with all WordPress themes?

Compatibility with all themes is impossible, because they are too many, but generally if themes are developed according to WordPress and WooCommerce guidelines, YITH plugins are compatible with them.
Yet, we can grant compatibility with themes developed by YIThemes, because they are constantly updated and tested with our plugins. Sometimes, especially when new versions are released, it might only require some time for them to be all updated, but you can be sure that they will be tested and will be working in a few days.

The plugin isn't notifying anyone, to get that function yu need the premium plugin, which is legit, just be sure to correct the free plugin descripton.

"lets your customers be notified about their order shipping" Just be aware customers aren't notified by email if that's what you're expecting. All this plugin does is display a simple message in the My Account > Orders page. That message only displays when you enter a Pick Up date as well. You can't enter a link to a tracking website. The basics are missing from this basic plugin.
