Recent Review: excellent experience all through the process. Julio & Uriel were our painters and they were first class. They were so thorough and so immaculate in each step of the process. They took great care in taping off to protect everything both inside and in the garage where they set up a paint tent. They did an excellent job of handling some difficult crown moldings. They had to take off the refrigerator doors to get it out of it's cubby and they did it without one hint of being inconvenienced. My father was a contractor and I have done quite a bit of painting, but this team was in a league by themselves. Even their caulking was meticulous. There was never any mess. They left us with a clean kitchen that looked brand new. We had looked into resurfacing or replacing the cabinets, but were discouraged by the $16,000 plus prices. We now have beautiful cabinets at a fraction of that cost and the whole experience was stress free. We could not be more pleased with our decision. Peter Moon, the owner, is responsive and personable.

Recent Review: This project exceeded my expectations. I rated them A in all categories and B in price, but I want to clarify that. They were the highest quote on the kitchen cabinet part of the project. However, they were the only ones to explain in detail what needed to be done, including hand scraping the old and defective caulking. The doors and drawers were taken offsite, and it took longer than projected. But the end result is amazing and I am thrilled. I’m a believer in you get what you pay for, and the higher price was worth it. Carlos and Juan also were great to work with. They were always at my house on time and were very good at prepping. They were respectful of my space and never left me with a huge mess at the end of the work day.

Recent Review: The owner did the spraying of cabinets and that was about all his time on the job. He had two employees do most of the work and he was rarely on the job - we thought he would be involved in all the work. We had to remind the workers of what was bid and they still did not complete the work - they missed doing some doors, the fireplace and even after we reminded them that work was included in the bid, they didn't finish it - owner promised they were going to come back and do touch up work and finish what was left undone. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of paying him before the job was completed. After repeated calls to him asking when they would come and after many promises that it would be tomorrow or next week or whatever. . . they simply stopped returning calls and never have finished the job. The overall quality of work that was done is average, but if it's not done, what good is that?

Recent Review: Anthony and his guys did an excellent job painting our kitchen and living room. They removed our popcorn ceiling which looked better than we excepted. His guys are awesome and helpful moving stuff around and protecting your existing furniture. Can't wait to work with him again.

Recent Review: I can't even begin to describe the incredible job that was performed by DJ and his crew, so I will list them out: 1. Him and his crew ARRIVED ON TIME, EVERY SINGLE DAY. He told us they would begin work every day at 8:30 a.m. and was true to word every day. Never missed a beat, in fact, sometimes they were a little early. 2. They WORKED FULL DAYS and sometimes OVERTIME to complete everything. They stayed a little late to complete daily tasks and even worked part of a Saturday. 3. They completed the work in a VERY TIMELY MANNER. The remodel of kitchen, painting of kitchen, dining area, and laundry room, and replacement of flooring in entryway, living room, dining room and kitchen took exactly 3 weeks and 1 day. 4. DJ DOESN NOT "OUTSOURCE" the job. He and his crew completed everything from start to finish. 5. He works ONE JOB AT A TIME, so we got the full attention and care from start-to-finish. 6. DJ takes you to PICK OUT EVERYTHING. He spent hours talking with us, listening to what we wanted and even took us to cabinet, tile, flooring, granite stores so that we could pick out what we wanted. Even though he took the time to do this, he never charged extra for this. 7. The QUOTE HE GAVE US for the job WAS THE EXACT PRICE WE PAID. There were no extra charges, no problems. He is true to his word! 8. The QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL!!! I cannot stress this enough, IMPECCABLE WORK. We actually picked him because others on Angie's List praised his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Well, let me tell you, this guy is a straight up artist! He would not quit until everything was perfect. He added so many extras that help make our kitchen look like a million dollars (all included in quote, so nothing extra!). 9. DJ can do WHATEVER STYLE YOU LIKE. You want modern, he can do it, you want traditional, he is your man. DJ understands every style and recommends little touches to make it your own. I have chemical-induced asthma, and DJ used NO-VOC paint on everything for me! 10. DJ and his team are GOOD MEN with great MORALS. They care about your job, and will never "pull one over on you" or scam you. Completely trustworthy, sincere, and extremely friendly. THE WORK WE HAD DONE: tore out our whole kitchen, replaced cabinets with solid wood cabinets to ceiling with trim, under cabinet lighting, high-end granite countertops, travertine backsplash to ceiling with trim, sealant on travertine, created a bar off our sink area, new sink, garbage disposal, ceiling, wall, doors, and baseboard paint, removed Waynes Coat in part of kitchen, new sheet rock in places, installed a hood vent from scratch (we never had one before), new kitchen lighting, replaced all outlets and switches with new dimmable and more modern switches, new lighting in dining area, paint in dining area, new engineered hardwood floors in entryway, living room, dining room, and kitchen with trim to baseboards. At the end they put everything back, mopped floors, wiped everything down by hand!! DJ was the perfect contractor and we are extremely pleased with the work. We are definitely using him again in the future!

Recent Review: This is a professionally run operation and it shows in the results. Roy Burges came out, looked over the kitchen and offered suggestions. He was most helpful in the selection of the paint color. All paints and supplies were included. His estimate was on the mark as to price and time required. The two men he assigned to the job were perfectionists (got this from the boss, I'm sure). They arrived between 8 and 8:30 each morning and worked until 4:30. Since they brought their lunch and ate in the truck, little time was lost. Each day they cleaned up after themselves. When they finished the kitchen was cleaner than when they started!

Recent Review: I purchased this deal because I could not find anyone to do a small handyman job. Very pleased with Clear Choice from beginning to end. Prompt reply to my first call, they were friendly, professional, and always left the work area very clean. We were completely satisfied and they delivered on the work promised. We have since hired them to design and install a custom island in our kitchen, remove a wall, install Sheetrock. Do electrical work,paint kitchen /dining room and install tile. We love the design , the color selection, and quality of materials and craftsmanship. The remodel was completed on schedule. We feel relieved that we have found a contractor that we can trust and rely on for more of our home remodeling projects!
