After we agreed to hire him we paid him half the amount due and he was quick to get right to work. He has a small crew that works with him and the group is great and communicating and the job gets done seamlessly. Max is all about pleasing the customer. Recent Review: Lone Star State Construction was asked to totally replace the carport and porch railing at my rent house after a young lady ran her car into them. The carport was wood framed, with steel poles set in concrete and a shingled roof, and the porch railing was made of wood. Lone Star was the third contractor I received an estimate from. The other contractors were thousands of dollars higher than Lone Star. Lone Star did a wonderful job from start to finish. The carport and porch look GREAT!!! Everyone I dealt with, from Don, to Darren, to Dave, were totally professional and great to work with. The job finished on time and my tenant and I are extremely happy. I will definitely call on them again if need be, and would recommend them to anyone.

Recent Review: I interviewed several companies off Angie's List when we decided to build a new deck. I knew right away Second to None was the one to go with. Raleigh met with us several times preconstruction to help us come up with a design that would fit our needs and our budget. It was truly a pleasure working with Raleigh and his crew. They were punctual, professional, kind and in constant communication. Raleigh is onsite overseeing every aspect of the job which was important to us. He is a true professional who takes great pride in his work and pays attention to ever detail. Overall, we are very pleased with our beautiful new outdoor space. We highly recommend Second to None and definitely will use them again for future projects.

Recent Review: We had Mr. Solis refinish our hardwood floors. The job involved replacement of several thresholds. The work was performed in a timely, punctual and professional manner. The results are beautiful! We then asked him to repair and paint an interior wall, repair rotten wood siding and porch rails outside and stucco a portion of our siding. Mr. Solis was vigilant about the quality of the job and insisted everything be done right. We appreciated his high standards!

Recent Review: We looked the provided up on Angie's List, called him. He was very punctual on the call, and provided a written estimate. We agreed and he scheduled the work. Most of the work was accomplished while was out of the country on business and I inspected the work after I returned.
