    I ordered the trees last week and was given two flags to put in my yard marking the spots where I wanted the trees planted. I put the flags in my yard, but wasn't confident I had chosen the right locations. I called the center this morning and asked if they could tell me approximately when the trees would be delivered. They put me in touch with Steve. I called Steve and he told me he should be at my house around 2:30. I told him I wasn't entirely happy with the locations I had chosen and asked him if he could call me when he was on the way to my house so I could leave work and meet him. He said he'd be happy to. When I arrived home, Steve and his crew were waiting for me. He explained that due to the size of the trees, the locations I chose probably wouldn't be ideal. I then asked him if he wouldn't mind digging up a smaller tree so that one of the new trees could go in its spot. He not only said that wouldn't be problem, he and his crew had that tree out in under 10 minutes! I couldn't be more pleased with the trees... the customer service at the center, and of course Steve and his patience and guidance. While planting the trees, Steve explained how to properly care and water the trees for the next two years. I had received the tree care paperwork when I ordered the trees, but I appreciated his attention to detail. He even showed me what the new growth looked like and cautioned me against pruning until the trees became more established. I will definitely return to The Garden Center for all my landscaping needs

    Purchasing the appliances went smoothly with Keith's help. Very knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy. Great experience. When the delivery guys came, they were very professional and did everything they could to make sure everything was set up perfectly and I was happy with it all (my doorframe was a hair too narrow for the fridge, so there was some finagling and pieces temporarily removed to make it fit. they did it beautifully, with no damage). I don't remember their names now, but I sent an email to Corporate expressing my gratitude (and for Keith)

    We had just cut down two trees and needed to have their stumps ground down. There were a number of tree stumps on the property we decided to have ground down at the same time. All together there were 14 stumps. The rep was very pleasant and came out the next day to give a bid. He also followed up the following day. Unfortunately it was a little more than we wanted to pay. I can't rate the price because they were the only bid. But we rented the grinder and trailer and including the time to pick it up and take it back it was about 7 hours of work for under $200. But Alfaro's gave a very professional first impression

    The two-man crew (Jesuar and Eric) went to work immediately, exposing the roots of five live oak trees. Moved the mulch and soil and added river rock around each tree. They then removed more mulch to create two "streams" of river rock. The mulch was transported and added to other areas of the front gardens. 1.5 cu yards of river rock was used. The crew did a great job, they were on time and very professional. This is my third time using Blades of Glory and I can't be pleased enough with their work

    We contacted Shawn on Tuesday afternoon and he promptly called back. &nbsp;I explained what had been going on since December with one of his competitors not responding to calls. &nbsp;Shawn explained that he was booked but still offered to stop by the following morning. &nbsp;He and his helper stopped by as mentioned and immediately began looking for the problem which he almost immediately determined was a ground wire problem. &nbsp;After a little bit of checking several valves he had determined that the issue was definitely an unconnected grounding wire where Knockout Landscapes had not re-connected when they had to re-route sprinklers for a yard project. &nbsp;Anyway, after Earlybird Irrigation finished the job he tested the entire system in my presence to ensure that everything worked. <br /> If you live on the NW Side and are looking for lawn Irrigation system maintenance, repair or installation I would 150% recommend Earlybird Irrigation. &nbsp;They will definitely be my first choice for future maintenance. <br /
