  I was very satisfied with A to Z. Amanda in the office was responsive and easy to work with. She calls you back when you leave a message! Fabian came for an estimate and then led the actual work: trimming of a large pine tree and a medium sized oak tree. He knows what he is doing and does it quickly and efficiently. The crew cleaned up the site afterward, and gave my neighbor some wood chips for free. They had to deal with a large yellow jacket nest but they didn't let that stop them. The job expanded slightly during the day, and Fabian gave me a fair updated estimate. I would definitely use them again

  This company impressed me from the first phone call. This good impression grew with the prompt arrival of the owner at the time appointed for an assessment and estimate. He asked questions about what I wanted, answered my questions about the health of my trees and what could/should be done to deal with the problems with them. <br /> On the day set for doing the work, the crew (including the owner) arrived right on time and set to work quickly and efficiently. Working on my small, steep lot with utility wires very close to the trees must have been a challenge, but this team brought down some quite large, very high limbs without incident. That Douglas fir is TALL but didn't seem to be a problem for this group. (They also followed safety measures at every step.) And now I don't have to worry about very large limbs crashing down during one of out windy nights. Looks much better too. <br /> The plum (poor thing) looks much better and now has a chance to grow in a more natural pattern. Even with problems, its foliage is lovely and it's beautiful in spring bloom. The Japanese maple looks especially beautiful now with the deadwood cleared out and the natural shape revealed. And it no longer brushes the roof or droops onto my shoulders when I walk past it to get to my car. <br /> The cleanup this crew did was extremely impressive. Every bit of debris was collected, chipped, or hauled away. Debris was blown from the driveway and walkways. And they did all this without damage to the plants beneath the trees! <br /> So, I was impressed from start to finish. My trees look great, my yard and plants were unscathed. I feel that I received high value at a very reasonable cost

  The Green Leaf crew did an excellent job completing this project. The price for the work was reasonable, &amp; they were shockingly fast at cutting down the large laurel hedges that span one side of my property. Furthermore, they thoroughly cleaned up &amp; took away what they trimmed. Dustin was clear at communicating his crew's plans, what to expect regarding how the hedges would look post cut, &amp; their growth after. These laurels are finally at a height that I can manage on my own. Thank you

The entire crew was pleasant, worked fast and took additional direction well. The entire process was fast and clean up was done well. Neighbors made very positive remarks on the entire process.   I hired Ballard Tree to remove two trees growing close to my foundation. They were recommended by "Homeowners Club", an association of contractors in north Seattle. The estimate seemed reasonable, and separated into tree removal/chipping and stump grinding. I opted for tree removal only. The tree removal was completed safely and neatly, avoiding nearby telephone and electrical wires. They arrived a few days later than originally stated, which caused a coordination problem with others working in the yard. Overall I am satisfied with the work and would hire again

  We had a tree leaning over our fence in the backyard. It had partially uprooted due to a wind storm. We wanted it removed immediately before it fell on the fence. Tom was very prompt; even though he was out of town he sent his foreman next day to remove the tree and another one close to it because it was a hazard. We were very happy. Other companies were backed out by over a week. He is not the cheapest but is fairly priced and we like the work. Definitely will use them again if we need to
