    Mike was fantastic to work with. He was punctual, detailed, hard working, and easy to work with. He came into a blank space and I laid out my vision. Within a day or two, believe me it was a laundry list. His quotes are very detailed. Allows you to see exactly where the costs go. This was a key sales point for me. Other quotes I received were two lines materials labor. While performing the job I was coming up with new ideas, Mike was very willing to work with me on them. After seeing how well my basement turned out. I hired him for 3 more jobs, cabinets and tile work on fireplace, installing flooring, and finishing my garage. I would highly recommend mike for any of your general contracting needs. You will not be disappointe

He walked us through the new TV options and explained the Sound Bar. I had to have him explain it a few times. He was patient and accomodating.     CW electric was great during the whole process. 1) Dave did a walk through with me at the start of the job. I showed him my final vision for the space and the lighting I wanted and where I needed outlets. He took careful notes, made helpful suggestions, and talked me out of work that he didn't think was necessary. 2) CW electric was significantly cheaper than the other quote I got. (I know I should have had a third quote on a job this size.) It was a difficult job to quote, because we had a mess of various generations of wiring crossing key spaces were we wanted to change the layout. 3) They were great about scheduling. When I needed them and then patient until other contractors finished their work so they could finish the job. Of the various trades we needed to work with CW electric was the easiest with regards to scheduling. At one point, they had some other urgent work. Dan called to ask very politely if they could reschedule some work for a day or two later. At that point, they were not on our critical path, so I didn't mind at all and I told him that. Nonetheless, they added a whole house surge protector at no charge for my inconvenience. 4) They had great attention to detail. They sourced some great under counter LEDs and just replaced little things that they found (such as replacing an old indicator lamp with a new LED indicator). 5) Once we had finished materials in the work area, they were scrupulous with putting down drop clothes and covering their shoes. Unfortunately, the plumbers I had the same day were not so good and learned nothing from their good example. At least, the drop clothes from CW protected the carpet from the messy plumbers

    It all went very well. They came out to give us an estimate, and listened patiently while I struggled with the life altering decision of where exactly to put the track lighting. We received a written estimate in a timely manner, and scheduled time for the install. In the meantime, we collected the various pieces of equipment we asked to provide on our own for the install (ceiling fan, wire for the speakers, speakers, and track lighting). On the day of the install, a storm rolled in and we lost power. Was that a problem for the CW Electric team? Heck no! They used the emergency handle on the garage door to let in a little extra light, set up drop clothes to catch debris, and started right in on the work. "We carry our own sources of power, if needed!" They were reassuring. Were they phased when, during the storm, a random neighborhood dog showed up in the garage seeking cover? Heck no! They were cool as cucumbers. I was told to that to fish the wires, they'd need to cut some holes in the walls. They did- but the holes were fewer and smaller than I was expecting. The ceiling fan went right where we'd asked it to go. The track lighting was centered and plumb with the walls, and the speakers were placed perfectly. The TV mount was securely fastened to the wall, and they mounted the TV as well. We did have to schedule a follow-up visit to trade out a few switch covers from cream to white, but that went off just fine. All in all, we're extremely pleased. We dreaded doing this work- concerned that it would be difficult to arrange and/or burdensome to execute. CW put us at ease nearly immediately, and ensured the work was done well. We highly recommend them, and would absolutely take them on again for additional work

    I ordered an Acrylic turntable cover for my new audiophile turntable - Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Origin Live illustrious tone arm. I got the "floating cover", which sits on the top of the turntable plinth via 4 seating blocks. This cover is a beautiful work of art, literally could be used in an art museum display. it is very sturdy and extremely well finished. The pricing was very, very reasonable and I have never seen better or more secure packaging. Shipping was received as was promised and in a timely fashion.     The scheduling of the technicians was easy. They arrived on time and got to work right away. They installed a 2nd key pad first, which went very well. They then reviewed the security system features with me and answer all of my questions.
