Living in a brownstone while undergoing renovation is not pleasant, but this contractor did everything possible to minimize this. Andrew Giancola is an awfully nice guy who has been in the business for many years - so he knows what to anticipate, which subcontractors are the best and how to get the job done as efficiently as possible. These type of jobs always have issues - in our case much of the structure of a mid 1920's addition had to be demolished because it was poorly built - but the contractor took it in stride and made the best of a bad situation.
Description of Work
Extensive renovations to the first and second floors of Brooklyn brownstone, including kitchen, two bathrooms, entire parlor floor, outside deck, roof and new HVAC system. Giancola Contracting was professional, responsive and on budget (except for some add-ons that were required due to unforeseen pre-existing structural issues). The subcontractors were uniformly excellent as well.

Description of Work
The project went very smooth. I had a leak which was originating from my shower stall. This leak was a reoccurring nightmare for us. Giancola contractors came in (for the first time) took the time to trouble shoot exactly where the source of the leak was occurring from. The were punctual, neat, professional and really easy to work with. The owner was always reachable, very smart and knowledgable in his field. The price was fair.
