Memphis Tankless Water Heater Installation

They referred me to a contractor who handles installation of their products. That contractor sent a plumbing/heating guy to our home the next day. He arrived on time, and as it turned out, the thermostat on the water heater we already had had been turned down by accident. He turned it up for us. He was professional and I was grateful that I only had to spend $55.00 instead of the minimum of $2000.00 for the tankless heater.

S. Lance and L. Anthony were our installers. They were very friendly and professional. They did their job and then cleanned up their mess and explained function of heater. We were quite pleased with there work.

Very well. It was done in a timely manor and he was prompt. He first looked at the problem and then came back a couple days later on a Saturday.

Called Conway Services at 7:00 on a Wednesday night. Hot water heater was leaking but was contained in pan. On call technician walked me through shutting off water at tank. Thursday PM met with representative to discuss options. Chose to go with a more expensive tankless model rather than replacing electric water heater. This was based on experience with tankless heaters at my parents and other locations. Price was more than I had expected, but covered all work required. No hidden charges. Friday at 11:00 team showed up for installation. All representatives were on time and professional at all times. Put down carpet protection, wore booties and even cleaned wall where some rusty splatter had inadvertantly come out of old tank. Team completed work in about 5 hours. They checked all the faucets before they left and even fixed a bathroom fixture that had become clogged with debris from old hot water heater. I was extremely satisfied and I would certainly recommend. They won't be the cheapest quote you get, but I think you can trust that they are going to do the work right and they will not nickle and dime you later in the process.

Service was top notch, on time as scheduled and professional with excellent follow up. Had a minor issue with tankless water heater (not related to plumbers) and the problem was immediately corrected.

Company was hired to replace water heater.Ran a new gas line and left it leaking when they left. It leaked for 2 weeks, we got sick/newborn was there. April 19 Greenway Services installed a tankless water heater and installed a gas line for it. When they left for the day, they did not check for gas leaks in the attic. 2 weeks later, after we had all been sick, we found out there was a natural gas leak in our attic which is over the bedrooms and bathrooms. They willfully and negligently left an unsecured connector of a natural gas line where it was able to harm us.Not checking for gas leaks after installing a gas line is reckless and could have been deadly. We called MLGW and they came and fixed the leak as well as sent the report to Greenway. I called the same day and they had a manager named Allie call me back. She was very nice but not helpful. As of today,c May 14 2019 she has informed me that since we called MLGW BEFORE Greenway then they are NOT responsible - uh I called MLGW because how was I to know it was THAT gas line leaking? Other than MLGW no one has been out & that is even more insulting than the cookies. As they did not perform the job correctly we would like at minimum a return of all labor charges seeing as how they made us ill and COULD HAVE KILLED US. The system was $5500. I do not feel we should pay the labor. Honestly I am insulted so much by their offer "to make it right" of 10% discounts on future services, a free AC checkup and a basket of COOKIES. They could have killed a week old baby. They rushed the job and got it done quickly because of my newborn granddaughter being there (one week old baby) but failed to secure a connection to the inside gas line and it leaked for 2 weeks in my attic. We could have blown the house up easily - the % of natural gas was 53% that is 520,000ppm! It only takes about 8% to light it!

Overall the process went well. First installer showed up at 8am and started working. Second installer came later after picking up materials needed. They covered my floors and was very polite and professional to me and my family. They even talked to my daughter and called her the boss. They brought in an electrician and a roofer to handle those parts of the job. After everything was complete they explained how the unit worked and everything was working fine. My only complaint is after they left. The main bathroom toilet started running and would not stop. I was turning on faucets checking the hot water and the toilet started running. It sounded like air was in the lines so I started opening faucets to remove any air. Nothing seemed to help. I went online and saw that is might be debris in the lines and that might be causing toilet to run. I called and asked to have someone come out and look at it. I was told that since nothing was wrong with the water heater I would have to pay a service call. I went and purchased another toilet fill tube and all seems well again. I understood that it was not a water heater issue but any time you mess with turning water lines off and on there might be debris in the lines and it was a simple fix, but I did not like the fact that they wanted me to pay for a service call for something that was working fine before the install. I have used Conway Services in the past and will continue to use them in the future because they might not be the cheapest company but they do the best work I have seen so far.

My tank water heater died after 10 years. After discussion with Ray of Stewart Plumbing, we decided to install a tankless water heater. Ray and the entire Stewart Plumbing team did a fantastic job explaining everything and keeping me updated throughout the process. They were very professional and courteous. I'm very satisfied with their product (Navien NPE 240A) and their customer service. The new tankless water heater works great and should last several years longer than a traditional tank water heater. I highly recommend Stewart Plumbing for your new water heater and installation.

Tim was very professional. He oversaw everything and we are still very happy with their work. When a small leak occurred at the water meter recently he came out on a weekend and fixed it himself at no charge. Stewart Plumbing has done work for us several times and I can't imagine ever calling anyone else.

Conway Services never lets me down! This is the second major home project they have done for me, but the first with their plumbing services crew. William came out the Wed before the installations and provided a full plumbing assessment on my home. We talked about a few issues and what I wanted done. He provided a full recommendation and told me about same-as-cash financing for the tankless water heater system. He even went above the call of duty to secure the upgraded Kohler toilet style that I wanted so it could be installed the same day as the water heater. I've been back and forth for several years about the tankless water heater, but decided to bite the bullet and get it done. The following Friday, Anthony and Ken hit the attic on time to assess the water heater situation and William followed to work on the toilet upgrade. All the guys were clear with what I should expect, thorough in their work and professional in their communication with me and each other (based on what I heard). Conway guys are always clean and respectful of my home and I trust them to do what they say. Although they ran into some unexpected issues (with an old house that happens), they adapted and got it done all in one day! They also didn't charge me extra for the altered plan. I really appreciate this company's high standard of service. It's what sets them apart. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best I've found in Memphis. They actually make home improvements kinda fun....how many people can say that about plumbing and HVAC? Thanks Anthony, Ken, and William. Great work!
