They were Christians and i am a christian too, it is not that i do not like others but we shared same interest. They knew about shutters too and they have been in busy for a long time. They were professional and answered all my questions. They said if i had any more questions i could call them. They said if i had any problem, i should call them and they will come back. They handle this area and the Mississippi area.

Recent Review: After a frustrating time of trying to save money by going the Lowe's route, I was fortunate to meet the owner of Express Shutters and Blinds. He was able to come to my home within 24 hours, measure all windows, and quote a full installed price for 23 - 2" wood blinds for my Midtown home. The blinds arrived on time and were installed within 7 or 8 days. The quality of the product is terrific. The installation was easy and the overall cost was less than that of buying through a big box retailer. I have recommended Express Shutters and Blinds to several friends - all of whom have bee thrilled with the product and service.

Recent Review: They were terrific. They sent someone to measure, then the owner came and re-measured as a double check. They installed the shutters ahead of schedule, at our request, and did a spectacular job. We were pleased with every aspect of the experience. They were very responsive and easy to work with, and the quality of work was outstanding.

Recent Review: Measuring, price and working of the plans, well done, very professional and provided detailed explanations of how and why and provided options, Matt knows shutters. Ordering simple, price very competitive. The actual delivery of the shutters was about 4 weeks past the ETA and they were sometimes slow to respond. Later found out staff person left who was the communication person, which delay follow up. The install went well. Installers were clean, professional, knowledgeable and efficient.

Recent Review: Matt started off by calling before he was late to let me know he would be late and exactly when he would arrive. Very professional and courteous. He patiently showed me products and measured windows to my specifications. There are no gaps around my window treatments. The shutters and shades were installed quickly and professionally in less than the estimated time. Great care was taken to make sure everything was balanced and working well before they left.

Recent Review: They were very nice and very professional in putting the plantation shutters in. They came out and measured. They matched the color of the paint and they ordered the blinds. They were made here in the US and that meant a lot. They came back and installed it today though the weather was so bad. They looked great. They were very personable and very friendly. They brought all their own tools and they cleaned up after themselves. We had the Christmas tree put up so they moved it and moved it back and put everything back just the way it was. They did a very nice job. They were very professional. I got 3 estimates and theirs was not the cheapest but they were one of the top 2. I went with them because they were so professional.

Recent Review: I contacted Matthew about removing the old crank and adjacent side piece off a window that I am having café shutters installed in the kitchen. They could not install the shutters without this being accomplished first. I send him a picture of the window and he said he would be able to do the job and would get back to me with the date. A couple of days later he texted me that he would be able to come the following Monday or Tuesday and perform the work. We settled on Tuesday and Matthew arrived a little early texting me first to ask if this was alright. I said yes and he came over and examined the window in more detail. It took a little longer than we thought as the something had been added to the window along the way but he did a terrific job and repaired everything nicely. You can't even tell where the crank was, everything looks smooth and clean. He is a very nice gentleman and I would recommend him to anyone looking for handyman services.

Recent Review: Matt and Heather did an awesome job. They hand crafted and stained the 12 cedar shutters, stained the 8 6X 6 cedar shutters to match shutters. They installed bead board across our entire porch ceiling and painted it haint blue, looks amazing. They previously repaired a bunch of rotted wood and repainted to match house color. I would definitely recommend them for your home projects. Great work at reasonable prices.

Recent Review: Arn, Ed and Kit did a wonderful job! They arrived early and worked without a break. They were professional, polite and friendly. They cleaned up all of the packaging material and left each room clean. It was a pleasure having them install my shutters.

Recent Review: It worked out very well. It was 2 young men and both were extremely fast and good. They did everything I wanted them to them. They did a fine job. They were very clean and polite. They stayed right with it and didn't fool around and take a whole bunch of breaks. It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was for 8 hours worth of work and I didn't pay any additional. They came right when I wanted because I was expecting some company so they were very accommodating.

Recent Review: Basically the only thing that they did was remove some wood from the outside of my house. With every job there was always added expenses. Everytime they came I was paying them $100 - $200. They wouldn't come on days they were scheduled to. I have lost about 10 days of work from waiting on them to show up. They always had an excuse. None of the things that I paid extra money for them to do are completed. They kept charging me for the things that they messed up. Now half of my house is damaged. I have three bedrooms that were flooded. The pipes they put in were the wrong pipes and they busted in the middle of the night. I had 2 inches of water in my house. I have a plumber here that has to cap off my bathroom sinks and tub. They didn't put the tub in right. They took the shutters of the front of my house to paint them and they aren't done. I have a company here right now working to get the water out of my house. I have had to take more time off work so the insurance company can come and see what has happened to my home. I feel like a fool for paying them as much as I did. Finally I had to have the water turned off at the street line to stop the water coming into my house. I don't want anyone else to go through what I have been through.
