Recent Review: Everything is working perfectly. They were on time and professional. They had to re work a lot of my lines. They did not tell me, but they accidentally shut the gas line off to my house but came out the next day and re lit the hot-water heaters and turned the gas back on to my house.

Recent Review: I contracted this work in the winter time, presumably a slower time of year for pool contractors. Each phase of the project was completed quickly, there was some lag time in between phases, either due to weather or scheduling challenges. Evidently, some people don't like to work when the temperature is below 60! During the construction process, I did have one problem with a sub contractor who had crew members bringing their children to the site (this was work on a Saturday). I immediately called my contact person, and the problem was corrected, leading to the release of this sub-contractor. This change delayed slightly, but I was happy with the change. Everything came together very nicely. Since Cypress handled all of the work, they were able to schedule the contractors so that they did not interfere with each other and worked together. For instance, the footings of the arbor were set a day before the decking was poured. Had I been required to contract out an arbor, it would have had to be built after the pool was finished, in which case I would not have had the stronger footings placed, and it would have dragged out the time for the finished back yard. Additionally, they worked with me on including the little things, without additional costs. One such item was to run an additional gas line from the spa heater to the area that I BBQ. All post work touch-ups were handled quickly. The only downside comment I have was regarding the pool start-up. Cypress Custom works with Tex-Sun pools. Tex-Sun provides pool service to new pools free for one month. For a salt cell pool, salt is added 30 days after start-up. I did not sign a contract with Tex-Sun, so on the last day of Tex Sun service, they activated the salt cell but added way too much salt to the system. I was constantly adding fresh water for over a month to balance the system to proper levels. For the cost of the pool, and the $150/month from Tex-Sun, I would like to see 2 or even 3 months of free pool service for new pool owners. Other than the Tex-Sun, issue, everything is great. By the way, local Tex-Sun store is great, they are very helpful with recommendations.

Recent Review: It went very well. When I told friends and family that I was installing a pool they all said to dig in my heels and get ready for a nightmare experience. It was just the opposite with Premier. The designer, Sutton, who came to my home to measure and plan out the design was friendly, accessible, and actually LISTENED to what I was saying. I had had three other pool companies come to my home and go through the proposal process before her, and they came back with designs that were not really what I was saying I wanted, and in fact were reminiscent of motel pools from the 50s. Sutton however did a great job designing a pool that complimented my home, my lifestyle, and my neighborhood. Thurlow was assigned as the job supervisor and he was on top of everything. His knowledge of pool construction just blew me away. Thurlow was also extremely patient with all my questions. Having all this going on in my backyard was like being a kid again, and I was eager to know all the details. Thurlow made the construction fun and stress free from beginning to end. Even the subcontractors that were brought in along the way seemed to have the positive approach that Premier has towards such a complicated and imposing process. In the office Dora was like the air traffic controller of the job. Even when I was frustrated with details along the way (like "but why did the rainstorm and lightening shut down the job") she patiently and with good humor talked me through. I honestly don't know how she does it and stay so patient. May I just say though that the process isn't a walk in the park, it's a huge mess with lots of strangers coming and going, and of course there is the stress of it being such a big ticket installation and the worry that it might not turn out as expected. I'm truly glad that it's over. However the patience, professionalism, and courtesy that I encountered with everyone at Premier Pools made it all worthwhile.

Recent Review: This is a correction/update of my review of December 25th. I want to remove the previous review but I don't know how. Chuck from Hi Tech contacted me to apologize about the SNAFU with my call. He came out, inspected and made his recommendations. The price includes the price of the cover and pump motor. Chuck very kindly offered me a discount. Work was done swiftly and, when there was a follow up issue, Chuck took care of it immediately. Great job!Please ignore the previous review. I will try to get it deleted.

Recent Review: He came out and worked on my jacuzzi. He was professional and courteous. He was very good, but this was done over a year ago. He was present and timely. He was also really knowledgeable and he really knew how to do his job. I found them from the local yellow pages. I was very happy with their service.
