It is one guy. We've used him a few times and it is always good. He comes to our house. He is knowledgeable and works to get it right. He services Macs, laptops and PCs and is very knowledgeable on the different systems. We are one of his original people and his price is very moderate.

We called Sue to come to the house because of suspected virus/malware on a 4 year old PC and to optimize a new Windows 10 PC. Also we needed help with 2 laptops. Sue was very organized, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. She found & eliminated 2 viruses on the old Windows 7 PC, set up the wifi on the laptops and the old computer. Very helpful with customizing the new Windows 10 PC. Gave us useful advise on a number of things including browsers and internet security. The next day we couldn't get the printer to work with one of the computers & she straightened it out by remote control. About a week later, Sue helped me by remote control with another computer in a different location. Sue is very intelligent and patient and very good to work with.

They came to my home and helped with both synching and installation and security problems I had. I found out my iphone was not synching properly with my calendar and contacts, so they helped me with this problem. I also had a few viruses and I needed them removed and put on some new anti-virus software. They also put on Evernote which is a super cool program which I can keep notes on - which appear on my desktop, laptop and my iphone. Works really well. I also had to read a Mac hard drive on my Mac, so they helped me purchase and activate a program called Mac Drive.

They are communicative and specific about the problems and always able to be reached. The price seemed a little steep, but I was on a deadline and needed it done. They were polite but a bit elitist. They had a little ''too cool for school'' attitude. I would use them again given the same situation, otherwise I'd shop around a bit more for a better price.

Excellent. I called them in the morning; I was going to put icloud on my mac but was told it needed 2GB memory and I only had 1GB. Apple people gave me the Computer Center as an authorized dealer for apple computers. I called Computer Center, I took my computer up to their store. He sold me two 2GB memory cards and installed them free. Total cost $115 was for the two parts. I was done within minutes. Start when I called them to finish was within an hour. They got me in right away, did the work while I waited. He was knowledgeable and very helpful when I asked other questions about icloud. They were great and I am no computer whiz.

I called because my PC was hanging and seemed to have a mind of its own. I spoke with Chris and was advised to bring the unit in that the Computer Center could check it for Virsuses, Spyware and Malware and that the diagnostic would be $70. I took the PC in, they ran their diagnostics and cleaned up the malware. I picked the PC up about 5 days later and have been happy with the outcome.

I called Nerd4Rent in a panic as my PC wouldn't boot, I had a ton of photos on it, and hadn't backed up in months as I was switching to a Mac, but just hadn't gotten to moving the photos to it. Sonny (who runs the office) was very nice and clearly described their services. She gave me the option to have in-home service ($149/hour, 1 hour minimum), or to bring the tower to their office (same hourly rate, but only a half hour minimum). The latter was easier for me. I dropped off the computer mid-day, explaining that they could take their time as I had a Mac, too. I didn't need the data on the PC immediately, I just was afraid I was going to lose it. The PC was ready the next day, and I was only charged for a half hour's work ($74.50). They had fixed the OS problem, and done checks to make sure there were no other problems (viruses, etc.) Sonny made some recommendations regarding backup options. It was a totally satisfactory experience. Sonny and the nerds were competent and nice.

The display screen portion of my Dell XPS1710 had broken off from the unit and the screen display was separating from the frame.I've had this Dell for a few years so I thought of just discarding the whole thing. Very satisfactory. Laptop batteries are no longer consumer-replaceable, so I needed someone like this. We talked on the phone, and I was advised to buy the battery myself, then bring computer and the battery to them in order to reduce the time I was without it. Consequently, it took less than an hour to do the whole operation. By the way, the business is now known as San Francisco Computer Repair, though at the same address and phone number.

The service was excellent. He seemed very knowledgeable. However, I wanted him to clean up the computer and increase the speed which is what I thought the big deal covered. I didn’t know my laptop would take more than an hour. To get my laptop completely cleaned, I would have to pay extra for the extra time. Other than that, everything was good. They did the service remotely from their location. They logged into my laptop and cleaned it.

Brian returned my phone call promptly. He asked all the pertinent questions regarding my computer operating systems (Mac & Windows), type of internet service, and the hardware supplied by my provider. I explained what the problem was (I couldn't get my computers to connect wirelessly).
