Boston Sump Pump Repair

OUR PROBLEM WITH HIM WAS THE HE EITHER DIDN'T SHOW UP AT ALL OR FORGOT ABOUT US AND KEPT RESCHEDULING. EACH TIME WE RESCHEDULED, IT WAS BECAUSE WE CALLED HIM. HE NEVER CALLED US. HE DOES ,HOWEVER, DO GOOD WORK

Worked efficiently, cleaned up debris. Arrived on time and was completed within his estimated time.

Inexperienced guy claimed he fixed my sump pump. Charged $190 for 5 minutes of work. Then did a sale pitch for other plumbing work for ~$2000. Four weeks later we got heavy rains, sump pump didn’t work. Basement flooded.

The team did wonderful job and carefully explained to me what to do with my outdated but still working sump pump. I was also educated on the rationale of using sump pump. (I am a woman ignorant of all these house gadgets!)

Jason was courteous, professional and performed all services on schedule and st the agreed upon price. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This included capping and old sump pump, adding a new French drain around the internal perimeter of the basement, and putting in a new sump pump.

They were professional as always and recommended corrective actions to ensure longevity of my sump pump.

The job was a very simple maintenance of the sump pump. The rep. was courteous and prompt and cleaned up after he finished.

After the crazy winter, I wanted to installed a backup sump pump over my existing sump pump. I didn't want to go with a battery-based backup and Pete confirmed my choice. I got in touch with Pete based on his positive feedback on Angies list. He responded promptly at night, even asking me to take a picture of the existing sump pit to make sure that there is enough room to put a second one it. On the day of the service, Pete arrived promptly, installed the backup sump pump along side the existing sump pump and showed me how to switch between the pumps. Pete is very professional and pleasant to work with and will recommend his service to my neighbors and friends.

Jason Lane of Drycrete Waterproofing called and confirmed the appointment and arrived promptly. He went right to work and and had all the tools and parts necessary to complete the job. He removed the old pump and all the debris. He worked quickly and efficiently and explained the operation of the new pump to me.

Excellent service. I now feel secure knowing that my sump pump will go on if the power goes off. Unfortunately, I didn’t install the battery backup before the March storms. After Global had done several jobs for me in the past, I thought I was finally going to live without water in my basement but Mother Nature had other ideas. Luckily Bob came to my rescue rather quickly after the flooding. Now I KNOW I’ll be water-free. Bob has never tried to pressure me into buying something I don’t need or can’t afford but I wish I had bought the battery years ago when he first told me about it. I won’t make that mistake again. Cost-wise, Bob will break down the requested work into separate jobs and estimate each so I can make a decision if I can afford all of the work or only some of it. I don't think I've ever worked with a service provider who either answers his phone immediately or calls back promptly. Bob has always kept our appointments, except once when another customer had an emergency. He said he was willing to come over later after hours if I needed him that day. We set up another day for my job, as rescheduling was not a problem for me. I really appreciated that he didn't leave me hanging by not showing up or not calling, like a lot of service providers do. Bob cares about his customers and I’m happy to recommend him and his company.
