The repaired blind came back 10 inches short and was immediately send back to the factory for adjustment. Gladys bird dogged the HunterDouglas factory until they got it right. It is nice to have a sales person as your advocate when something goes wrong.

I had new blinds installed in the living room. I also had blinds repaired in the dining room in the entrance way and in the bed room. Parts of my blinds were broken in the dining and they fixed it under warranty. I was able to find the ones I wanted. I went into the store and looked at the catalog and they had my measurements from the original blinds I bought. They were really good to work with me and they did a good job.

Communication from the office person was very responsive and timely. The handyman (Tim) arrived on time and got right to work. He sought input and instruction before beginning a new task and made sure he completely understood what I wanted done. His questions were thoughtful and his suggestions were extremely helpful. He diligently worked through the day taking only a short break for lunch. He was completely prepared with the proper tools. He was very pleasant and totally professional and his work was top quality. I am extremely pleased with this employee and the company. I will definitely use them again.

BLINDS 'N' SHADES EXPRESS
I needed to repair a set of blinds. The pull up strings had snapped. I called to inquire as to the cost. Stacey was very happy to answer my questions over the phone and quoted me the price to have the blinds repaired. I came in a couple days later. She remembered me and promptly looked at my blinds. No issue to have them repaired for $45. I also brought in a wand that did not have the top plastic bit. She went to the back bench and pulled out wands to pick parts from. She keeps parts for such instances from when she does complete house replacements. She gave me the part for no charge. Just a happy smile. The best part is how quickly she turned it around. I came in on a Friday afternoon. She said the blinds would be done before the end of the day. They really were. She called an hour later & I picked them up the next day. All around, a great experience with a small shop. Nothing fancy, just great customer service.

We went with Elizabeth Shutters because they are made in the USA and lead time was much less than anyone else. Cost was about in the middle of the others we received quotes on. We were very excited to get our shutters installed. Mike the installer was on time and professional. The issue is the actual quality of the shutters. We only had 5 windows done and every shutter has some type of mark from scratches, chips, gouges and even paint rolling down one. Most of the issues were on the frames but some on the actual shutters. We also were having a shade installed but the bracket was not correct. Things happen and I even understand some issues with product. My complaint is that I reached out to Elizabeth Shutters exactly 1 week ago today. Told them of the quality issues and sent pictures. Also commented that pictures are hard to see everything and I was hopeful someone would come out and look. I also asked when the bracket would be in for the shades. Again 1 week ago and I have heard nothing back. That is not acceptable.
