  Excellent customer service! While not an emergency, we did have an urgent, and potentially dangerous situation as a result of recent heavy winds. Valerie and Mike were responsive, and fast -- squeezing us in for an estimate and work quicker than anticipated. We met with Mike on Friday, and on Monday, the trees were trimmed. The work was done while I was away from the house. When I returned, the trimming was exactly as we discussed in our meeting, and the team did a good job cleaning up. I was disappointed however, as I wanted to retain some of the wood from the trees which is something Mike and I discussed. (this is why Responsiveness is a "B" and not an "A".) Nonetheless, I would absolutely work with this company again

  <p>I received excepted the estimate on Nov 23, 2015 and work was scheduled for December 16, 2015.&nbsp; Received a call on December 4 that they had a canceilation and could do the work today if it was OK.&nbsp; </p> <p>hey arrived about 9:30 with 6 or 7 workers.&nbsp; We had requested&nbsp; that the have trimming natural looking.&nbsp; The workman were all very careful.&nbsp; Trees look beautiful.&nbsp; We are very happy with the results&nbsp; They finished about 4:30.&nbsp; Everything was nicely cleaned up.&nbsp; They took care of anything I asked.</p> <br /

  I was pretty happy with the estimates PWT gave me and the work they performed for Job #1 back in May. They trimmed some of my very tall, evil ficus trees, and then they removed a full-grown Tree of Heaven, treating the stump, all for a total of $470. I felt like I'd gotten my money's worth. But the price of this most recent job was extremely unsatisfactory. When they originally came out to give me an estimate for removing my cactus, it was $400. I figured it was worth it for dealing with all the prickly spines. When I called to schedule the work, it turned out they couldn't do it for almost 3 weeks. I discovered I needed it done sooner because the cactus was keeping me from pruning some other plants. So, I went ahead and cut off all of the cactus "paddles" myself, leaving the short stump. It took me hours over the next 3 weeks, and I filled 3 heavy green bins with cuttings. Before PWT came out, I told the administrator that I'd done most of the work already and that they'd need to reassess the price. They didn't. Instead, the work guys came out and, 20 minutes later, they were done. It was super quick. PWT *still* charged me $400 dollars! I called and complained, but all they took off the invoice was $50. I should have canceled the service and made them come out to give another estimate. Given the lack of customer service on this job, I probably won't use them again

  I hired Moreno's Landscaping about 6 months for an entire front yard redo. I had used their Angi coupon for yard maintenance before and really thought they were a very professional and nice group of guys. I wanted to basically rip out my entire front yard and porch and create a beautiful lush and colorful garden lining about 100 feet of my front yard.&nbsp; I met with Juan to discuss my vision and from the moment I told him what I wanted, he knew exactly the kind of plants, flowers, etc to achieve the look I wanted.&nbsp; He took me shopping at a nursery&nbsp;to get an idea of what kind of plants I liked and made a lot of helpful suggestions&nbsp;along the way.&nbsp;&nbsp; I've worked with a lot of contractors before, and I have to say Juan and his guys are the best I've ever worked with, from a great attitude and work ethic to a supreme knowledge of what they do and how to do it.&nbsp;&nbsp; I wish I could leave pictures here.&nbsp; Six months later I still have neighbors stopping in the street to admire what he did and compliment me on how it's changed the look of not just my house but the neighborhood.&nbsp;&nbsp; For reference, they took out all my prior landscaping and planted all new landscaping, installed a drip irrigation system, added gorgeous landscape lighting, removed old concrete walkway and created a new walkway of beautiful saltillo tile, which they also retiled my porch in.&nbsp; They stucco'd&nbsp;brick pillars, replaced my rotting fascia board, and installed new rain gutters.&nbsp; It was a massive project and Juan always had patience with me when I changed my mind.&nbsp; He's a really great guy and I'll be using him whenever possible in the future

  Very prompt and responsive. Gregg stopped by on a Saturday morning to walk the job, gave a price on the spot. We scheduled the work a week later and it took two days to complete. Crews did a great job....I am particularly happy with the quality of the tree trimming (the trees still look like pretty trees not chopped up twigs i have seen at other homes in the neighborhood) and clean up at the end of the job (its like they were not there). While price was within my budget, I do feel it was on the high end which is the reason for a B rating in that category. There were about 10 guys the first day who got most of the work done and then 2 - 3 guys the second day who finished up. In my mind, I thought it would take multiple crews 2 1/2 days to do the work. In truth, I did not question it or attempt to negotiate it down, so it is on me if i did not get the most competitive pricing...regardless, I am very happy with the job they did and the end result so i got what I paid for...I will 100% use them again
