He was punctual, cordial, good suggestions, knew what we was doing. He gave a good estimate which I thought was incredibly reasonable comparatively toward other companies I had gone to. He gave me great suggestions and still am thinking over some of the ones he had given me before I proceed. I had told him that I was not ready to do the project at this time. He did actually follow up with me about a month later. I appreciated it. I am thinking about using him for other general contracting.

Reliable is the name of the game! I needed to switch from my wood burning stove back to my furnace, and after not being in use for the last several years, wanted it tuned up. One of my better decisions! My questions were answered, and not having to lug wood inside (on the days I could burn) is wonderful. I plan on having Reliable take care of my furnace from now on!

He and his crew showed up at the scheduled time. From that point forward this was a disappointing hire. The drywall was taped with metal HVAC tape and mudded over. It had to be pulled off and retaped by someone else. No corner bead was used. The chimney pipes were not locked together when installed. The person that fixed this job says the building could have easily caught fire because of this. The storm flashing was not installed correctly resulting in rain penetration that puddled significantly on the floor. Debris was left by them when they finished including the old fireplace which I had to hire someone just to get down the stairs. When I complained about the work, he never bothered to rectify it which left me to get people in to fix his poor quality work.

They were great. I would highly recommend this company. They were able to come to very next day after I called. They came in the time they said they would. He was very professional and courteous. He knew what he was doing and you can tell. The service call was $125 and the part was another $45. It is on the high end of a service call but I feel that it was worth the extra money.

We knew our heater hadn't been working, and decided to use our wood stove to heat our home. After returning from a vacation during a cold spell, we were able to see our breath in the house! We called Dave and thankfully he was close and had time to squeeze us in. He came over and was able to quickly and easily diagnose the problem. He even had the part on his van. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Dave was friendly and careful in our home. I would definitely call Switzerland Air for any other HVAC issues. My parents have also used his company to install air conditioning in their whole house, and extend the heating in their addition.
