It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. I only consulted with the guy once and when it became pretty clear that it was a geothermal thing that he was talking about was way more expensive than I wanted to get involved with, I didn't pursue it further. I don't have a thing against the guy, it was just too much money. The gigantic geothermal system was just way too much for my house. The price for the consultation was extremely reasonable. He's a very nice man so I would recommend him. He was right on time. I would only use them if I were building a new house.

It went well. Kent determined that it was not cost effective for me. He checked my current furnace and suggested I contact PG&E to do an inspection since it was so old. He also showed me some options for a new more efficient furnace.

A-plus if I could have given it for the quality of the work and follow up and the thoroughness of the staff. Everyone is a professional and took pride in their work and the work of their team as a whole. Kent adjusted the options as the design process moved forward to ensure we stayed in budget, and then they worked with the general contractor to make it all came together. That was perfect for us. Their value shines in the follow-up. We've had some minor issues and they've been solved, and I've been treated like gold. No question I will use them for the HVAC for the re-model on the other side of my home. Cold Craft is not inexpensive, they are in-line with what a quality provider would and should charge.

If a replacement is recommended, he will help you select the most energy efficient system for optimum comfort. He will advise you on energy efficiency, windows, duct work, thermal barriers, attic venting and whatever else you need to know to make an educated decision about your indoor comfort.

Most people have no idea how much they are losing in energy and money through leaky and mis-run duct work. Kevin will climb into any space and keep a smile on his face. Newer systems lower energy costs and there are many federal and some local rebates. Denice (his fiance) will be happy to help you see if there are any rebates available to you.
Kevin is a master carpenter as well- though unlicensed in this field as of yet. He can replace, remodel or repair everything. He can do radiant heating, thermal barriers and is experienced in quality tile work to complete a radiant heated floor.

Do not use RH Hydronics. They replaced our tankless heater a few years ago and currently we are without consistent hot water since the beginning of Dec. I have tried unsuccessfully for 2 months to have them fix it. The receptionist is incompetent at taking and delivering messages and the manager, David, no-showed 4 times. I am at a loss since other radiant heating companies will not touch a job installed by someone else. I've been told working on someone else's complicated system is asking for trouble. Bottom line: they do not support their work or keep their appointments. I have been more than understanding with them and am deeply disappointed. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else.
