    I always use Applewood. I am a member of their club which gives me free inspections every year. I call them for plumbing electrical heating and air conditioning. They are here in a minute. Today Justin gave my furnace a checkout for the winter and Brian fixed a faucet in the shower. Justin discovered corrosion in my thermostat and made a recommendation that I replace it, which I will be doing with Applewood. Brian also checked out a leaky faucet and replaced the washer as a courtesy. It was a busy household here today. Very happy with my decision to always use this company

    I contacted the home office for an appointment on Monday this week, and they got me on the schedule for the upcoming Friday morning. The email and text response about the appointment that i set was excellent. The technician notified me he was on the way and promptly arrived at 8am. His name is Greg, and he is very knowledgeable about boilers and his craft. He was able to correctly identify our immediate trouble and let me know he could have the unit back up and running the same day. He also let me know about other details that should be upgraded. So, we are very happy that Greg came to our home and checked out the boiler. We will be very happy to have them back in the future

    I had a new HVAC system installed on September 17th 2019 by Sanders and Johnson. Crew that came to do the install were very professional, courteous and on time. The install took a day and a half. The crew kept me appraised on what they were doing which set my mind at ease. I had to have them back out to fix a minor issue with the install. They worked me in the same day that I called. The gentleman doing the estimate and explained what he could do for our house and improving out air quality. The day of the job, the installers showed up on time.     This is the second time we’ve contacted Plumbing Tree for Help! Basement drain backed up. As you can imagine we wanted to have to issue addressed ASAP! As in our first experience Keith stopped by within short order to access the situation. Turned out there was an issue in the pipeline out to the street! Keith had a crew out that afternoon to start digging to replace the line. Was very thankful our downtown was very short.     The service technician was friendly and explained a lot. He did try to do quite a bit of upselling to the Green Club for preventative maintenance. No fault of the service technician, but it seems to be a complete rip off to charge $289 for a $10 part (flame sensor). I later called my neighbor's HVAC company and they would do the same for approximately half of what we are charged. Even more irritatingly, we brought up warranty coverage since the furnace is only 6 years old, but it seemed the technician was uninterested in looking at the warranty coverage. We paid the fee as he departed and I followed up with the office on the billing issues. After calling once and being unable to speak to a billing person, who also did not follow up with the promised call the next day, I called again and spoke with someone. She had to speak with a manager and they initially DECLINED to cover since they did not install the unit, but after insistence, clarification we had the furnace installed by the company bought by Fix It 24/7 (Builder's), so had to find a former Builder's employee to ask and finally agreed to cover full visit cost - parts and labor due to part and labor warranties. After also using Fix It 24/7 for a plumbing job, my overall impression is that most employees seem young and inexperienced, they over-charge and not interested in using existing warranties. I would prefer to work with another more experienced and honestly-priced company. I miss the experience, good customer service, and seemingly fair prices of Builder's. The plus for Fix It is that they have 24/7 coverage and sometimes you need that emergency coverage. I might hire them again in that situation. People generally have been nice, even if inexperienced
