    I referred this company to my parents, seniors in their 70s. Their A/C was out and it was over 90 degrees. They got there to evaluate the problem within 1 day. When it was determined that system needed to be replaced, which was expected, it took one additional day to prepare a full estimate of replacement and install costs. The install was completed 2 days later. The company was professional and everyone they dealt with seem to really know their job. They may not be cheapest, but they are honest and do the job right the first time. They plan to call them for any future service or maintenance

    I have an older home and as such often face issues with legacy construction materials. In this case, my main water line ruptured. It is made of steel and not cooper, so 1 plumber i called would not even work on it. The second wanted to replace the entire line - running 200+ feet and a cost of $8k. JMS was very willing to explore , and eventually implement, a creative repair solution - splicing and threading the existing line. There was risk that that the line would not hold, but they fully communicted such and were prepared to replace the line, if necessary. The approach worked and saved me several thousands of dollars. I intend to use them again and would recommend them unconditionally

    We bought a house that did not have a working water heater, so before we moved in, we brought in JMS for a quote on replacing the water heater. We decided to go with a tank model, and they gave us a good quote. When the work turned more complex than expected (the exhaust had to run through the house instead of to the side), they honored the quote. Because of their good work and professionalism, we asked them to quote on the other items on our todo list, and chose them . Throughout the process, they were very professional and respectful, and always cleaned up the site properly. They made some recommendations about how to proceed, and while we went with their recommendations on some, on others we didn't, but it didn't make a difference in their good attitude. Dealing with Joe (the owner) and Javier (the foreman) was very easy, and the rest of the crew as well. When we decided to do some extra work only a few days before moving in, they were able to rearrange their people so we would be done in time

    We hired Fine builders for our total kitchen remodeling that besides replacing all the cabinets, appliances, island, and paint and more… we did do additional things: - We added a large recirculating pump for the hot water. - We upgraded the electric panel. - We installed new hardwood floors in the living and dining rooms areas. Nir was the person that designed and implemented the whole remodeling and supervised his crew of people each day. His supervision on the project, helped us a lot that lead into much less stress and concerns than we estimated. The office manager that was in charged on our project, did a wonderful job by coordinating, communicating, and billing us while the working crew and sub-contractors were polite, kindly, professional and hard working people. The project took less than 5 weeks from start to finish. The final price that we received and paid was not the cheapest, but the level of the quality, comfort & trust we had with Fine builders was more than just worth it

    The call was prompt. The technician was professional and courteous. I had replaced a wax ring for my toilet that had been leaking for some time. I later noticed what appeared to be a drying water stain on the outside wall. He looked to determine whether my main meter continued to run when all the water was turned off. Since it did not, we determined that it most likely was due to the leak before I replaced the wax ring, and that I would continue to monitor the area. When we remodel our two bathrooms, I definitely plan to call this company

    It was definitely odd. I was quoted a price then they sent someone out, then he worked for a few minutes and said the price is different now and it almost doubled. I felt uncomfortable and called the office. The only reason it doubled is he said they were supposed to send two people out and instead they sent one, so now it's double the time and double the price. But, I wasn't the one who decided on sending one person out. When I called the office the same woman I talked to before, who gave me the quote, answered and said that this isn't right and she'll fix it for me. The plumber was REALLY nice, I had to help him hold down parts because it was a two-person job. He said they will only charge me the quoted price. Then he has me sign the invoice and I went to pay him and he said don't worry the office will call me for payment. The office has never called me. It's almost been three weeks and I have left them 8 voicemails asking if I can please pay them. They still have not responded, then the other day they emailed me an invoice but no information on how to pay it. I called their number again, and again, and again. I have never had such a difficult time giving someone money. What is odd is when they first contacted me, they would pick up on the first ring. Now they just let me go to voicemail and ghost me. I am just afraid they will claim I never paid the invoice

    The founding owner of Good Guy Plumbing, Matthew Ornejo, aptly named the company. He is both a "good guy" and an outstanding plumber. Crowding us in at the end of a Friday--and we were even new customers--Mr. Ornejo worked into the evening--well past 7:30-- on that Friday night, returning again on Saturday with other equipment. When he discovered that the "clog" in the mainline to our septic tank was a formidable tree root, he recommended whom we might call, providing the sort of knowledgeable and thoughtful consultation service that a primary care physician would in calling in a specialist. AND, he called on the day of that service just to see how it all was going. I would recommend Good Guy Plumbing in a heartbeat, and will certainly go to him for plumbing...and, as it turns out, other areas as well, including electrical work. Additionally, Mr. Ornejo's pricing was well within the intersection of reasonable and affordable, wholly WITHOUT unexpected, "ad hoc" add-ons.
