Westar Alamo Land Survey was one of the firms we contacted, and one of the 3 who responded with a quote on price and turnaround time within a few days. They offered the best price (by a good margin) and turnaround time over the other two, and so we picked them. They showed up to do the survey work the next day and completed the job in around 3 hours. I was impressed with the engineer and his assistant both their professionalism and demeanor.     Anthony and his company&nbsp;basically did a survey of my foundation and compared it with what FEMA has said our flood elevations in this area are to determine if I need to have&nbsp;flood insurance; which I don't. It went well but I&nbsp;was not here when&nbsp;he did&nbsp;the survey. The company&nbsp;did what they said they would do at the time they said they would do it for the cost they said it would be. Everything went smoothly and they were good with communication. <br /> <br /

    Frankie from Suarez Tree Service knocked on my front door and asked if we would like our oak trees trimmed in time for the annual brush collection which was scheduled to be in our area the following Monday.&nbsp; Our trees were somewhat overgrown and we'd planned on trimming them for the brush collection, but hadn't called a service yet, mainly because the last companies we've hired in the past were a disappointment.&nbsp; We normally don't hire people who solicit to us, however after speaking with Frankie about their experience and method, we deiced to give them a chance.&nbsp; Frankie served as an interpreter to Beto,the person actually doing the trimming.&nbsp; Frankie was very careful to translate to Beto exactly what we were asking for.&nbsp; When I had questions, Frankie immediately translated them to Beto and then clearly explained to me the answers.&nbsp; Beto really knows his profession.&nbsp; He didn't just start whacking on my trees, he took his time and surveyed the limbs and made strategic cuts to enhance the tree's natural shape.&nbsp; He made sure there was a balance to his finished work.&nbsp; If I thought a limb should be cut down, he would explain why he was leaving it; whether it be for the health of the tree or to create a balance.&nbsp; Both men were extremely respectful and definitely intent on doing a good job.&nbsp; Once finished, they cleaned all cut branches and neatly piled them on our sidewalk, ready for the city pick up.&nbsp; All tree wounds were treated with the black paint.&nbsp; Frankie and Beto pulled no punches.&nbsp; They delivered on their promise to do a good job while working swiftly and efficiently.&nbsp; I am so glad we gave these guys a chance, as we now know who to call when our trees again need trimming.&nbsp; I am extremely happy with the appearance of my trees now.&nbsp; We've tried other tree trimmers and have never had the same company back twice.&nbsp; We will be calling Frankie and Beto back for sure! <br /
