First Person: Conversations with Holocaust Survivors

Tune in here on Wednesday, January 19, at 1 p.m. ET, and learn about Holocaust survivor Steven Fenves’s deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau. There, at the age of 13, he joined the resistance, served as an interpreter for Polish political prisoners, and was smuggled onto a transport to a Buchenwald subcamp, before being liberated by American soldiers.

Submit a question for Steven during the live discussion on the Museum’s YouTube page, by signing into your YouTube or Gmail account.

First Person is a monthly hour-long discussion featuring a live interview between journalist Bill Benson and a survivor and including questions from the audience, available on the Museum’s YouTube channel. It is made possible through generous support from the Louis Franklin Smith Foundation, with additional funding from the Arlene and Daniel Fisher Foundation.
