United States Marine Corps

A University That's Got Your Six

Start Your Next Mission

Founded by a retired Marine Corps officer, American Public University (APU) has educated those who serve since 1991. Our classes are 100% online with no set login times and our programs start every month, so you can begin on your schedule. We 're committed to saving you time and money by awarding transfer credit from your Joint Services Transcript, prior college coursework, and Marine Corps experience. We offer preliminary transfer credit reviews at no cost.

Steps to Get Started

After years of service in the USMC and more than one career, I decided to go back to school for my bachelor's degree at the age of 47. Every time I speak with the staff, I am treated like a dear friend, the professors are supportive and encouraging and the students are completely different from any college students I've ever seen.
