Jameson inspected our house because of terrible odor thought to be from decomposition. He did a very thorough inspection and has special equipment needed to inspect behind sheet rock with only a small drill hole. Very prompt, experienced and professional.

Marvin showed up on time, for a decent price, on fairly short notice. He thoroughly inspected the home on his own, and then took the time to walk around and talk me through his findings. He pointed out several things that I would not have noticed on my own, and recommended specific repairs or remedies for any deficiencies. Marvin said that we should expect the written report the next day, but he emailed it over the same evening. I would definitely hire again!

Tanya made the reservation for the inspection. I had noise issues in the attic and rats under the kitchen area. Fees were discussed along with work to be performed. Curt conducted the inspection in a professional manner, took his time to look both in the attic and under the house. Luckily, Curt explained he did not see any issues in the attic, and found where he thought the rats were coming in underneath. He showed me where the point of entry was and explained how to patch it. Overall, I was highly satisfied with C&T, fees are more than reasonable, and I'm happy to support this family owned local business.

The inspector showed up on time and did the inspection. This was a limited termite inspection. This company treated our house for termites about 10 years ago. No termites were found on this inspection. This company is now Aantex Pest Control.

We thought some holes in a fence post was caused by termites, but John inspected it along with some other areas of the house and told us we did not have termites. The inspection consisted of an interior check, crawl space underneath my home, an out building and the lawn more specifically being shrubs and trees. At the completion of the inspection, I received a written report of the process and results. I will definitely do another inspection with the company in three to four years which is the business's recommendation. The inspector was very friendly. Omega Termite and Pest Control
Omega was the group hired by the listing real estate agent for a house we purchased in Oakland; the inspection suggested that there was termite activity and that "further inspection was needed." We called to schedule service as soon as we purchased the house; they were booking 4 weeks out. We also had them come back to do the "further inspection" where they basically said that there's a portion of the house that's inaccessible and would need to have the structural reinforcement of the foundation removed in order to access it for treatment which would cost an additional $1500. Why they couldn't have said that on the original report is beyond me. Fast forward and the day of our appointment comes. I took off a half day from work and they no-showed. I called to follow up and they said, "sorry, we had to fire a guy." So apparently they fire people without rescheduling their appointments. To me, a lack of customer service is the biggest red flag when it comes to using a service company. They made no amends for wasting my time and so I'll be paying an extra amount to have a different group come inspect.

We highly recommend Gold Standard Termite and Pest, Inc. Jameson came out to do the inspection and his extensive knowledge and careful explanations immediately put us at ease. We were told by another company that we COULDN'T have subterranean termites because we have a slab foundation. We have an Eichler. Jameson's very thorough inspection discovered that we, indeed, have subterranean termites. We chose to do a local treatment because the drywood termites were in the beams and it appeared that the infestation was in the early stages. Their work and ethics are amazing! Jameson (inspector) and Uriel (technician who performed the treatment) have the utmost respect for your property and personal safety. They entered our home with booties and masks at all time unlike the previous company that did not. I did not have clean up after the work and Uriel was able to match the color on our beams (two different colors) perfectly. To the untrained eye, we couldn't tell where the drilled holes were. We were told by the other company that we would have to buy primer and paint to cover up the treated areas. Jameson's and Uriel's knowledge, customer service and professionalism are outstanding! Their response time is quick and they know how to take good care of their customers. We are so fortunate that we found them to take care of our home. Anyone who selects Gold Standard Termite and Pest, Inc., can feel confident that they will help you preserve your home. Thank you for a job very well done.
