    The Build Back Better bill is another major opportunity to improve health. It expands healthcare to those in the Medicaid coverage gap, extends the larger , guarantees paid leave and child care, and creates more affordable housing. All are good for our health.

    $21 billion to clean up Superfund and brownfield sites. Toxic chemicals around these sites can increase the risk of chronic disease and illnesses and are felt most acutely by people of color; they can even shorten life expectancy. Cleaning these sites permanently is essential.
