They were excellent. The sales person was quite helpful and the installation crew was very good. They removed and replaced the furniture for us as well.

THE INSTALLERS SHOWED UP AS SCHEDULED AND COMPLETED THE WORK EFFICIENTLY. THE CARPETING WAS PROPERLY INSTALLED AND THE OLD CARPET WAS REMOVED WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

Removal and installation went smoothly and on schedule. Team was thorough and went the extra mile to install all the trim work.

Each craftsman that was sent to the house was knowledgeable, polite and completed their task as promised. The maple floors are beautiful and all painting meticulous. The tile was a little tricky as we replaced the trim tiles only. This meant the tiles needed to be carefully removed to avoid breaking the remaining tile. Before re-grouting, he took the extra care needed to remove and prep the existing grout. We are more than pleased with their work and would use them again.

I started my project in in Late June finding the right Company to Install, Repair Squeaks in my 2nd floor before New Carpet is installed. On 7/15 Rob returned my call the same day to setup a meeting for the request for quotes, we confirmed the date/time for him to come out to measure my home and explain the squeaks if they can be repaired, he gave me very good information on the issue and provided a date/time for me to come into the store to review samples of carpet , color, texture and type of foam, When I arrived at the store Rob had many selections for me to choose from based on what we discussed when he came out of my home. I also explained that because of my Arthritis I would not be able to move furniture out of my home, he explained that his team would be move my furniture which was included in my cost. The week before the install, I received a call from the install manager who explained the process and steps on installation and the additional work replacing the screws that were causing the squeaks. On Tuesday the installers arrived earlier than expected which was nice, they identified who they were, explained to me what they were going to do and began work, they were very respectful and ask questions when required, but other than that they moved the furniture, fixed the floor squeaks and installed my new beautiful carpet, they cleaned up as they worked, before leaving they asked me to check and look around, any questions I had they answered or resolved the issue. I am so happy I found Mike and Carpetologist. Mike was able to schedule me easily on the date I needed. He was clear about what work would be done and how long it would take. He gave me an idea of what the costs would be ahead of time and after he saw what work really needed to be done, he ended up charging me less than quoted. He texted me on his way to the house and showed up right on time. Mike was able to remove 3 different bumps from my well traveled hallway carpet and set up for the carpet cleaner to arrive as soon as he was done. The carpet looks amazing, I only wish I had called him sooner. I could not be happier with the service and results and will recommend him to anyone looking for this type of service.

I SHOPPED MANY STORES BEFORE I DECIDED ON THIS STORE. I LIKED THE FACT THAT THEY SOLD THE CARPET BY THE YARD COMPLETE WITH INSTALLATION, REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF OLD CARPET AND NO EXTRA COSTS.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND DID AN EXTRA SPECIAL JOB OF REMOVING THE FURNITURE BEFORE LAYING THE PADDING AND CARPET. THE CARPET LOOKS GREAT AND THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS IN REPLACING THE FURNITURE.

SOD is the best choice when you expect a job done correctly and timely! I have used SOD before for gut renovation projects and had really great experiences. This time I bought some new floor for about 850 sqft area from Home Depot thinking it will be a simple small job to install them so I didn't call SOD at first. However, after calling multiple contractors/handyman and scheduling appointments, one even started working on removing part of the old carpet, I kept getting excuses for delays and rescheduling. After more than a month of delay and frustration, it still seemed like there is no end to when the floor was going to be done, I finally had it and called Oren to ask for help and he sent 3 people in just 2 days after I called and finished everything in 3 days. The team came out and explain to me in detail what they planned to do, gave me ideas on how to finish the floor on some tricky parts in the kitchen and answered all my questions. They were pleasant, polite and professional. They kept the house clean after each day of work and touched up on all the paints that might have been scratched during the installation. The floor was done beautifully and I learn my lesson that I should have called Oren the first place - SOD provides the same high quality and professionalism no matter how small the project is. I will definitely keep going back to them for my future projects.

When I called for an estimate I was surprised at how quickly Mr. Straus was able to come. I knew the carpeting I wanted and he was able to get it in a reasonable time. (The carpet had to be run specially by the manufacturer.) When my remodel slowed down, he was very flexible about re-scheduling the date of installation to meet my new needs. The installation was painless, with workers arriving exactly when they said they would, cleaning up after themselves, and making seams that were almost invisible, with a single exception. When I wrote Mr. Straus that my worry was not about the lack of invisibility of a single seam but the fear it might unravel with time. He guaranteed he would fix it if that happened. Excellent. I would hire them again in a second. IN fact, this is the 2nd time I've hired them; they put in a laminate floor for me last year, and again, were excellent. As a landlord, I've used many flooring contractors and these guys are way above anyone else.

The work was done to perfection! Once the date was set for installment, the contractor, Larry, showed up when he said he would and finished when he said he would. Wow, what a novel concept!!! He was thoughtful in answering my questions and made great suggestions for how to lay out the flooring. The manager of the Dublin store was exceptionally helpful in answering my questions and writing up the order. I couldn't have been happier. with the whole job from start to finish.
