    They did a good job overall. They had to excavate in the back (they use a contractor for that) and then replace the pipes leading from the washing machine to the sewer drain. This house is 60 years old and the old pipes just couldn't handle the water load, flooding the laundry room. The only problem we had was getting the excavation crew back out here to fill in the hole once the plumbing was done. There was some sort of confusion over whether Berkey's needed to get an inspector to go over the work first. It ended up being a couple of phone calls and about 3 weeks until they got the crew back out here. However, the crew did leave the excavation covered and a mound of dirt/rocks created a barrier to the hole so that our dog couldn't get to it, so that was a good thing. The pipes seem to be working just fine now

    Great! During The Great Freeze of 2021, Bill had done some emergency leak repair for a neighbor just a day or so before. Even though it was still chaos and crisis everywhere due to the extreme cold temperature event, Bill himself came out the day after we talked. He promptly found our leak which was in an outside water line used to service my dock (Lake Worth froze over folks - for those who do not know). He also promptly found a cutoff valve and stopped the flow. After the emergencies everywhere had subsided somewhat, Good Man Justin called me and arranged to come out. I showed him the broken pipe and he patiently listened to me as I told him that I wanted him to add a stub-out to be used for a different purpose. I could not stay to see that it was done right. This has been a major problem in the past with other contractors. Happily, when I inspected the work later, Justin had made the repair and installed the stub-out exactly as I had described. When I first showed Justin the job, I told him I could not stay around to pay but would call in the following Monday with a credit card and pay. Monday I was having a battle royal with my credit card company so payment on Monday did not happen. The next day or Wednesday I typically put things off until it was late. I called the office to say I was driving a check out to them. Karen said she was trying to leave but would wait. Well, the traffic and my happy, kind but inept fellow drivers delayed me beyond description. But, Karen was there when I finally staggered in after defeating the forces of delay arrayed against me. She took the check and gave me a receipt and then we had a bit of a chat which was a lot of fun. It is impossible for me to square my excellent experience with the complaints I see. An insurance broker friend of mine, after I told him of some difficulties I was having with a client, said "SPCBHWN". I said what?!? He said "Some People Can't Be Helped. Who's Next?" Some times you do what you can do and the customer just cannot be helped no matter what. Then, you just have to move on the next person you can help and try as hard as you did for the last guy. Bill and his folks probably did fine by those folks. They just could not be helped. I am glad I was one of the "next". I'm Frank and I stand by this message

    Two plumbers arrived on time. They did not have booties on to protect my carpet. I pulled up the rugs and covered my carpets with towels so that they could access the bathroom. The flapper valve was replaced on the guest toilet. I was told that the old flapper valve was worn, which it was. While they were here I asked them to replace the flapper valve in the master bathroom as a precaution even though the it was functioning properly. The next day, I noticed that the neither toilet was flushing properly. The guest and master toilet require multiple flushes and the master toilet is leaking at the flapper valve and water is periodically running. I called them out again the next day to resolve the issue with no success. Now, instead of one problem with my guest toilet, I have two problems with two toilets. I think they installed the wrong flapper valve. In all honesty, the owner of Atlas offered to send the same plumbers back out again at no cost, but I declined. They have lost my business
