  We needed to replace a the brick stairway at the front entrance of our house. We wanted to replace it with some sort of stone rather than sticking with brick. Commonwealth did a great job from start to finish. This began with a long conversation about our stone and material choices for the new stairs. Sean from Commonwealth was very knowledgeable and experienced, and this helped us have confidence that we were going to end up with a good design. The work was done quickly and without incident. The work was completed on schedule, and the stairs turned out beautifully. We would definitely use Commonwealth Masonry for future jobs, and would recommend them to others

  Oscar and his men were extremely hard working and did an excellent job removing and replacing our brick retaining wall. They cleaned and reused some of the old over baked brick for a perfect match to the old walls on the property. They also demolished and filled in a gunite pool and covered it over with a brick patio ( excellent workmanship). In addition they installed a PVC fence and also custom built a horizontal fence. All work was done on a timely and professional manner. I have recommended Oscar to a close friend and he was also very satisfied with his work and price His prices are very competitive.

  I was told I needed to give 350 dollars for service call but it would be refunded to me when the work started. They never told me how much it was to have the work done I was told" Don't worry we will take care of you." I kept asking how much is the cost I was told many times I will get you the information but never received it for days. Meanwhile my check was cashed. Finally after the check was cleared from the bank I receive the quote about 7 thousand dollars. Being elderly and having my husband just pass away I was beside myself. I could not afford this much money and did not have a clue it would cost that much I told them to please return the money I cant do the job. I was told "Your not getting the money back because you are not having the work done by us.'' That was cost of service call he said. I told them that's a lot of money can you send me half back I was told NO. I feel like I was scammed into giving this money to them. Not only did I give them the money It was very hard to get him to come to the house to talk with them about the work It was all around a bad experience for me and I really trusted them. Lesson learned but money I really can used taken. Not a good compan
