    Brian, Greg, and their niece Serena were fabulous to work with and did a beautiful job refinishing 3 rooms of engineered red oak flooring that were somewhat scratched and dinged. It was reassuring that the business owners actually did all the work themselves. The floors now look better than when originally installed, with a much more natural looking finish. After getting our input, Brian provided us with samples of different stain colors and finishes so we could pick what we liked best. He worked with us to do the job in 2 phases so our house wasn't completely disrupted all at once. We cleared out the largest room first, and the team refinished that one. A couple of weeks later, we moved the furniture from the other 2 rooms into the room that was already done and the team came back to refinish those rooms. This was less efficient for them, but they didn't charge us extra for that. The work was immaculate, and they contained the dust completely by hanging plastic and using machines that caught most of the dust. We had no cleanup to do afterwards (other than getting a painter to repaint the shoe mould that was removed and reinstalled). They worked extremely hard, sometimes late into the evening, to get the job done on our schedule. We would definitely use them again. Their price per square foot was considerably lower than another longstanding Austin flooring company that gave me a phone quote (and wouldn't have allowed us to break the job into 2 phases)

    DLC flooring was great ! I had some trouble with past companies trying to get them to come and fix my tile and Juan Carlos was right on it. We were able to set up a date and he did an amazing job. I’m so happy with the results , I would recommend him to everyone , his job is amazing and it was a great price for the job he did

The most joyful, prompt, efficient team. Super responsive, on time, and the best price we found. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we love our floors. The team crushed 1400sqft in less than 7 hours (even with tricky fireplace angles!) and we are beyond thrilled with the whole experience.     We had a partially rotted subfloor from a leaky toilet and needed to tear out our old tile to assess the damage. We called a few other companies for quotes but we didn't reach their minimum work orders. Almichael's gave us a shot for our small job (~200 sq ft), scheduled us in a week, and their installer Daniel was in and out in under a day, with a repaired subfloor and time to lay LVP in both our damaged and master bathrooms. Alfred kept in touch with us throughout the process, and came to do a final assessment of the job which was absolutely perfect. We were also able to provide our own LVP planks and underlayment for the job so it could look just right for us. Once our budget resets, we'll be coming back to Almichael's for our next flooring job B

    I had to have vinyl plank flooring relaid and some of the surfaces evened out due to water leaks in my dining room and remodeling in my kitchen. Some contractors refused to reuse any of my old flooring (most of it had not been touched at all by water). Others gave me inflated prices. And yet others took weeks to get back to me. So, dealing with Alfred was a breath of fresh air. He gave me a fair quote (though not the cheapest), but the best part was that he was able to fit me in the very same day. After 6 weeks of torn up floors, it was so great to have them put back so quickly and so professionally. I would definitely hire again

It also means that I am concerned about quality of work, because I’m trying to resurrect and preserve a house that hasn’t been taken the best care of by the people that came before me. While it seems like most of the contractors in this town don’t even want to show up to make a bid, let alone actually do the work, Gerald and his team were the opposite.     Angela and Leroy responded very quickly to my request for carpeting. They showed up on time with a full set of samples. They were very helpful in explaining all the different carpet and padding options. When it was time to install, the installers showed up on time. They were very professional. They carefully moved all the big furniture out of the way before they started each room.. When they were finished, they took care to make sure everything was put back exactly the way I wanted it. The carpet is installed flawlessly. I can’t see any seams and the edges around the baseboards are all tucked in perfectly

I like the fact that they have worked with their installation crew for years as well. Robert is so thorough and patient as you go through flooring samples to get the one that is "just right." He is careful about showing in different lights. He went above and beyond for me to compare more thoroughly my two top favorites.     Terrible quality of work and professionalism. I’m shocked at the reviews as I hired thinking that they must be a good company based on the reviews. Jose overall seems to be a nice guy but once the work is confirmed and he gets started, he has attitude problems. His team does not pay attention to detail. We had to tell them several times that they missed the caulking or the transition or painting the shoe molding which was already agreed in on our contract. If you look at the way they cut our planks for the floor it is crooked and not aligned. For our fireplace, they forgot to put the grout on two of them and used 4 bad tiles that were damaged! He still asked us to pay so we did thinking he will come back in good faith to fix it. Instead he is ignoring our calls and refuses to answer us. He also hasn’t come back to paint our cabinets which was what we agreed on in our estimate. Lastly his team damaged one of our doors when bringing the planks from the garage inside and they refuse to admit they damaged it or do anything about it. They also left all the sanding from the planks in our grass, didn’t bother cleaning it up. Demo from the tiles was all over our appliances and kitchen countertops. Didn’t bother covering it even though we asked several times. If you like quality work and pay attention to detail, don’t hire this company. They are crooks. Took our money and ghosted us

    Absolutely terrible. The installer didn't use a level one time throughout the entire concrete floating. The LVP install, albeit fast, was awful. No expansion gaps, superglue marks left on the planks visible in sunlight, didn't remove trim and placed flooring around it. All of this is superfluous, the entire substrate was completely unlevel. Had to hire someone else to come and float the floor after removing about $8,000 worth of flooring, which was completely ruined. I don't know how this guy has 5 stars
