    Don and his team are phenomenal! From the beginning of the estimate process up to the completion of the job it was top level service all around. The price was very competitive and I was particularly impressed that as the job evolved, Don would point out suggestions to make nuanced adjustments to the project that enhanced the results. Whenever, there was an unexpected curveball based on the existing house design, he thoroughly explained what it was and how they were adjusting to resolve it. I was also extremely impressed that he has a permanent, full-time crew, and not only was he present on the site every day, he often personally worked on aspects of the job and explaining to the younger guys what he was doing and why. I strongly recommend for anyone seeking a siding job in the capital region

    We have used the services of 518 Remodel on two separate occasions. Their service and work have always been outstanding. In the fall of 2017 they added 8 feet to our garage and then built and outfitted a mudroom/ laundry room for us. This was an extensive project which required construction, excavation, paving, electrical, plumbing, painting, concrete and drywall work. All this work was completed to the highest standards. We again, hired this company in March 2021, to do some attic work and to retile 2 bathrooms. Here again we were fully satisfied and impressed with the jobs that were done for us. Sal, the owner, has subcontractors commence work in a timely manner, and he always returns your call and attends to all of the customers needs. This is truly an excellent full-service construction company that performs high quality work

    Jason came to perform estimate and flew a drone over the house to get a look at the situation. I had been interested in faux slate and Jason recommended the GAF Camelot II product which looks great. The main roofing crew worked like beasts and had the main house and garage done inside of 2 days, working morning to dark. Patrick and crew followed for the detail work on the siding and copper, which came out awesome, and they even worked the last day in the rain to complete the job. Overall couldn't be happier as this job wasn't an easy one given the height and odd angles of my older house. Everything was timely and the jobsite kept as clean as can be expected. Most homeowners don't understand just how messy a roofing job is due to the nature of the work and materials. These guys consistently kept the site cleaned up and were very thorough in picking up nails, debris, etc. I have several neighbors commenting positively on the job, some in envy of the copper! I'd recommend these guys to anybody without thinking about it. They are the real deal

    We met with the estimator to look at our project - replacing the poor work of another contractor (who we tried for a year to get to fix the issues). The project included replacing all of the soffit/fascia on the house, fixing the trim and flashing, and we added on a bathroom vent hole. The price was fair and reasonable. The workers were friendly and efficient, the team was very clean and respectful. They picked up every night, and were polite in every interaction. They even recommended other contractors for work they don’t do. The work looks a million times better and was super fast compared to my first nightmare installation (a few days vs a few weeks).     Home Evolution was the 2nd vendor that responded to my Angi's inquiry for siding and roofing repair from a storm but the company that I ultimately hired. They were responsive, on site the next day to provide a reasonable cost estimate, then returned the 2nd day to start and complete the work.     Bought windows in August of 2020 and they weren’t installed to April of 2021. The week after installation they needed repair and Todd came after several weeks to fix. The repair he did lasted a day. Trying calling (at least 30 times), they would just hang up or their mailbox was full. Now I have a hard time in closing windows. Folks, please don’t use this company. They are not rated on BBB as they state on their site
