He created our dream kitchen in about 8 weeks; this was a complete remodel — demo, electrical, plumbing, cabinet/appliance install, flooring, backsplash, crown molding, and a brand new pantry he built himself. During that time, he also made a spacious closet for our upstairs guest bedroom. Always on time, incredibly reliable, communicative, and trustworthy — not to mention meticulously clean. Already have plans to hire Jim again

    We needed a basic kitchen countertop and backsplash makeover to look better for selling our home. The store had a lot of choices but we more wanted the best bang for our buck since we were selling the home. Cost was slightly more then if I went to the big box store, but as this is a local family owned business, I was perfectly fine with the very slight cost increase. The sales person listened to our situation very carefully and did not try and upsell us anything we didn't need. We wanted the basic subway tile for the backsplash and ended up with an in stock quartz countertop that was more than sufficient for what we needed. The installation went smoothly as well. Installers came on the date selected and were very courteous and professional. The countertops were put in with no issues at all and we were very happy and hope the new owner is just as happy

    We had two cracks in our foundation. One crack was much more severe than the other. For the mason contractors to properly fix the inside and outside of the cracked foundation they had to take out an old concrete patio slab. They fixed the foundation cracks and put in a new slab, filled in three basement windows, replaced two basement windows, installed two window wells, installed drainage pipe for gutter run off, and added fill around the foundation to make positive grade. Serena and Bo kept us in the loop every day to tell us what work was being performed for each day. We will definitely be using Staats Masonry again for any of our other future concrete jobs

    Great job! There were a couple of layers of kitchen flooring and he made it work in a very old 100 year old Schenectady house. He Installed vinyl flooring planks and a thin underlayment underneath the planks that I purchased from Lowe’s. He did a great job and it looks beautiful
