The work was professional level and timely. I thought it would take all day but it turned out to my surprise that S&J Handyman had the wall sheetrock done and painted, the of my chair already repaired in less than 2.5 hours. Honestly I was very happy with the outcome ☺.

It would be a week before they could do the the work, so called another contractor, Maudlin Drywall. Maudlin did the job two days later, did more work than the original estimate and charged me less! Call Maudlin Drywall.

I called Ron on Wednesday and he was available to come for an estimate on Thursday. He called to say he was running ahead of schedule and could come earlier than planned which was great. He gave me the estimate and his crew came out the next day to repair the drywall. They were here for about 30 minutes (small area) and did an excellent job. I will definitely use them in the future if needed. Ron also recommended some painters that he has worked with to paint the new drywall and repair the heat damage to the cabinets.

Very well! I found both Mr Kenney and his son, very professional and well skilled. I really appreciated thier design skills when replacing a partial wall with new tile - the current tile was not made anymore. I would definitely hire them again.

S&L Remodeling and Design was the last estimate appointment we had and the first to submit their estimate (the very next day). Jacob would respond immediately and was never late for an appointment. Their estimate was in line with the other bids we received but we really were impressed with how reliable and responsive Jacob was so we decided it felt right to go with S&L. If there was anything I had a concern about he always listened, soothed my fear, explained the situation and provided the solution immediately. The clear communication continued on from beginning to end. The project manager was always available to us and his workers were there 6 days a week working hard and doing excellent work. All the work passed inspection first pass. The end result was beautiful!! Now that we have moved in, it's bittersweet that we have to part ways with Jacob. So, all in all, please do yourself a favor if you are going to remodel, and call S&L. Their customer service, quality of work, and attention to detail will really wow you!

Ron was easy to work with. He was always on time, polite and reasonably priced. I had gotten my plumbing rerouted and the plumbers ripped out big sections of drywall throughout the house. Ron and his crew came in, completely repaired walls and put in new patches of drywall. The work came out beautiful and you can't even tell which parts of the drywall is new. A++ service and work

Scott Schrader and Pacific Drywall are a wonderful company to deal with and I highly recommend them to any one else needing drywall repair. Scott took the time to explain what needed to be done and answered all my questions. My wall and ceiling do not even look like they had any damage at all! I could not be more satisfied!

The work is going very well. He is extremely professional and great attention detail. He is also very responsive.

Everything went great. Brian described in detail what would be done. The work was originally supposed to be done in 3 days, but they were able to get it done in 2. The end result was perfect. The walls and ceiling are perfectly textured, and we can't tell there were ever any cracks anywhere. 2 holes were also repaired behind our dryer, and the work was done to perfection. They were very professional all the way through. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

We hired Hire My Husband to help get our house ready for sale. We innitially hired tham for painting But as time passed we found that more work was required. In the end they painted, repaired walls and rebuilt our deck. They were very responsive to our needs and rush time frame.

a delightful experience. the gentlemen who worked on the job were always on time, polite, ready to explain anything i asked. the cost was in keeping with the average i researched, actually a bit less. there was some dry wall repair involved and this was done with expertise (looks like the rest of the wall in the room). these gentlemen were easy to work with, to have in and out of my home with no problem and friendly, plus the job was done well. and now we have water pressure for days!

Roger returned my call the same day I called and agreed to come by the next day. We had gotten another bid, but the person seemed unsure of what work needed to be done. Roger was willing to tackle the "unknown" inside the wall, repair and replace it. He did just that in about 3 days. Great work!

Richard, was right on time, kept me posted on what he was doing, and was good at keeping it cost effective and not over doing anything. He also gave me good advice on a wall repair I needed that was a cheaper way to go than I was planning on doing. I will absolutely be calling RIchard again when I have other "handyman" services needed. THanks RIchard.

I am fairly satisfied with the finished product, but there were many mis-steps along the way. First, the dog door was installed more-or-less in the middle of the door. The door was a one-of-a-kind vintage door with stained glass--it is the original door that goes with my victorian home, built in 1879. This is not the kind of door you want people to cut holes in all over the place. they fixed their mistake, lowered the dog door, patched the hole, but it is horrifying that the mistake would have been made in the first place. I don't have a circus dog, I have a 13 year old geriatric dog that has trouble walking. why would you install a dog door in the middle of the door? They were consistently (read: always) late, or no-shows. On at least 5 occasions I took time off work (my precious vacation time) to stay home to meet them for various reason when they would call and cancel at the last minute. The job was completed months and months past the promised finish date. When the job was complete they charged the full price even though they had promised to charge significantly less because of all their mistakes. I had to remind them of all the mistakes and of their promise to charge less. They finally acquiesced but had I not been a good self-advocate I easily could have ended up paying significantly more than the project was worth. Although I can't be sure, my sense is that they felt like they could try to take advantage of me because I am a single woman. Once when I was particularly upset with their lack of punctuality they tried to make me feel better by complimenting my appearance. If you are a single woman (or really anyone), make sure you get EVERYTHING that is promised in writing, make sure that you keep a log of what has been done, and whether it was done on time, and make sure that you advocate at yourself.
