    After a team did a huge job of clearing old growth that covered the view from my picture window, the team of planters came and did the planting. Chris did a good job of making my small garden in front of the house an asset instead of a jungle. He chose plants so that something should be in bloom almost all year. I wanted something that would not have to be replaced every year. I just wish they had a service to help keep the garden looking as good as it did when it was put in. I have had difficulty finding "weed pullers." I am retired and facing back surgery, so I don't have the ability to weed and dig roots of emerging plants from what was left after the garden was cleaned out. The pine straw mulch doesn't do anything to help prevent this new growth

    Hickory Creek Nursery had us choose the trees we wanted for our yard and went out of its way to search sources for the types and sizes that would best fit in our selected spot. We ended up choosing two trees that they had had in their nursery stock so they had us mark them and then schedule an installation day. The installation was complicated because the selected spot is against a lagoon bulkhead (we live on a golf course) and maneuvering heavy equipment bring them to the right spot was dicey. Troy did a masterful job getting them exactly where we wanted them. The rest of the crew was courteous and hardworking to assure that the trees would settle properly but that, also, the yard and patio area would be undamaged. They did a nice job cleaning up before leaving and they gave us explicit instructions for caring for the trees during their first few weeks of settlement. We found Hickory Creek to be value-conscious and customer-conscious alike

    Quick and efficient. The trees are still thriving.Pat's products are a bit more expensive than purchase at a Lowe's and Home Depot (hence my grade of B on price). However, you get what you pay for. I trust their work entirely. They provide good advice on landscaping and are knowledgeable about what will grow and what will not in northeast Florida.     It went well. Chris came out and and drew up plans form our conversation. My husband and I met with him in his office to finalize plans. The crew came as scheduled they made sure they understood the plans. They were polite and professional and worked very hard. The weather did not cooperate and there were rain delays, but the crew was here as soon as the weather allowed

    This was my first visit to Trad's, it had been recommended to me by several friends. I needed help putting together the soil for my 1st raised vegetable bed. The young man that assisted me spent quite a while answering all of my questions about soil and mulch, helped me calculate the amount I was going to need and arranged a convenient delivery time for my purchases. The next day, a very cheerful delivery driver showed up at my house and not only put everything where I asked him to, but he also offered some useful advice on ground covers I hadn't thought of. My peas, carrots and tomatoes are now happily growing in Trad's proprietary potting mix and Trad's has earned a loyal future customer

    We hired Hickory Creek to help us design and install new landscaping for our front and backyard. Jessica came and assessed our yard, and listened to our requests and designed a rendering that presented a vision for our space. She selected plants and materials based on our preferences. She was very easy to communicate with and stuck to our budget. When it was time for installation, Troy, Adam & Danny showed up on time and were very professional. We got new sod installed, and realized how important it was to have irrigation professionals on hand to make sure all of our sprinklers were functional. We couldn’t be more pleased with the finished result. It’s like we have a whole new yard to enjoy. We would 100% recommend Hickory Creek to anyone needing plants or landscaping assistance
