THEY WERE PROMPT TO RETURN MY CALL THEY SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT THAT WAS IN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME. THE CREW SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB. WE WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN.

Perfect. Ramon Rosas and his team were punctual and professional. The work was done in a single day, as per our agreement, and included clean up of the site. They left our previously weed-tangled property looking a thousand times better.

Two men showed up on time and got to work. They cleared, trimmed and cleaned the yard. They filled our green waste container and their small trailer with trimmings.

Called saying that other customers were cancelling appointments due to rain so they could come early. Maybe because they therefore had extra room in the truck, they took more than what I thought I paid for. Also assessed the possibility of scheduled visits for yard waste and clearing parts of the land. Great experience.

Jose arrived on time to provide his estimate. He carefully wrote down each item we wanted along with details we requested. We accepted his estimate and agreed on the date and time of the work. On the agreed upon day, Jose was punctual, accomplished the work we had agreed upon in a very satisfactory manner, and cleaned up and disposed of the yard waste as prearranged. I will contact Jose again for our future needs, and recommend his services to others.

The guys are quick and efficient and keep my yard the best one on the block. They also pull the heavy yard waste bin out for pick up.

Quite well - this was a positive experience. Cannot do yard work now due to long term illnesss. Aly contacted by my wife, she fave task list (see services performed), scheduled a date and time. Aly's team showed up on time, did the work very well, cleaned up the yard (should take before and after pix). Goal was to have yard in good enough condition that a company with Cut and go services could keep the yard up economically. Success by all standards. Excellent work

Jacob and his crew are very responsive to my lawn and garden needs. They always come around the same time each week to mow the lawn and edge and trim bushes and plants that need trimming. They check and fix leaks when I notice a problem. They fix or add or change the drip irrigation when I ask . Jacob blessing, the owner answers me promptly when I call or e-mail him about something and his workers are friendly and responsive too. Once a rock flew up accidentally and cracked a window when they were edging. Mr. Blessing responded immediately. Informed his people and told me he would take care of it, I got my window people out to give an estimate,since it was a custom window. He made good on his promise. His guys felt really bad about it too and try to avoid that. But apparently this is a hazard of the business. So Jacob is prepared. He is very good at communication. Much better than previous lawn and garden businesses. He Speaks English, which is a big help. He uses quality equipment and knows his stuff . He explains what he has to do. We've had others just put cheap stuff in that went bad quickly.when we had to cut back because of money, He worked with us. I am very satisfied. He is more organic and natural. So if weeds start showing up, you have to decide how you want to deal with it. He's not into pesticides. So if young want that , he may not be your person. You can ask him.

Andy arrived on time and from what I could tell, did an okay job. I had to leave for work before he was finished. I felt the price for the haul away was a bit steep and was pretty ticked to come home to find the jasmine bush nicely piled in my back yard. Apparently, my telling him that he could use my yard waste bin left him thinking that I was married to the idea of composting. I'm still now, weeks later, cramming bits of the pile into my yard waste bin. I'm upset because I was paying him to go to the dump for me anyway. He did however, clean up a less aggressive bush on the other side of my porch without my asking and without charging me extra. I would probably use him again, but plan to shop around for someone a bit less expensive before I need the gutter cleaning again next year.

Robert and his crew were great. From the initial meeting with Robert. He was very up front and even suggested we wait until we could afford a little more in our budget so we don't waste money. We decided to jump and do everything, including an new paver walkway and front patio. Robert was very patient with us and helped us make the right choices on what to plant. They worked at an amazing pace and it was done way sooner than we ever expected. I would highly recommend Robert and his crew to anyone.

I got a referral from my neighbor. He does a great job. He is great. He is on time; he is usually there by 8 AM every morning. He cleans up after himself. He is very meticulous and very good at what he does. With regard to price, I haven't compared prices.

Todd is great to work with! He arrived with a crew of four other people in the morning and they didn't waste any time getting to work. He proceeded to complete all the items we had talked about when he came to give me an estimate for the work. When it came time to add new plants, he consulted with me to make sure they were being put in the correct place. They finished the job in a timely manner. Todd checked all the work with me before leaving.

Well. The gardeners worked fast and hard the entire time. The only issue we had was that they did not haul away the green waste. It took us about 5 weeks of filling our own green waste trash receptacle before we got rid of the pile of weeds.

I called and scheduled an appointment. I wanted for a couple of hours but he never showed up, never called to cancel, and never called after to apologize. This is unprofessional and wasted my time.

My husband and I were looking for a new landscaping/lawn work service. The one we previous had just wasn't cutting it. I looked around a lot and decided to go with Green Valley Services. I am so happy that we did! Gabriel was very responsive to my initial phone call and quickly made an appointment to review our needs and go over his services. He is very friendly and professional. We really needed a good overhaul and clean up of the front and back yard, which included taking down and removal of a very large tree. He listened to all our needs. Was honest and fair about how much work was necessary and what the cost would be for the initial work and then for monthly maintenance. He was even conscientious enough to coordinate our service day with our local trash/yard waste pick up. In addition to all of this, the work he and his crew did (and do) is very good. Our yard looks amazing and I am very happy with the service. I would definitely recommend Green Valley Services.

Was going to hire these guys but they NEVER called back to schedule the work. Met with Craig on 2/24/12 to get an estimate. He gave a ball park figure ($500ish) and sad he'd get a firm price for the clean up to me the beginning of the next week. Didn't hear back, so I left a message and sent an email. At the end of the SECOND week (Friday) I used Angie's List to send an email. Received a call back from the owner, Willie, saying Craig was out of the office and he'd speak with him Monday and get me a firm price for clean-up. Monday - nothing. Tuesday - nothing. Left a message Tuesday evening saying to please contact Wednesday. Clearly these guys are SO BUSY that they are not interested in new business. It's not crazy to want a firm price before allowing someone to start a job. Craig said $500 ish, but I wanted to know for sure. Didn't want the job to be started and then have the price soar to $1000. This is not an unreasonable request. I am annoyed that they wasted my time setting up a consultation and then NEVER followed up.

We have been using their various branches on and off since 1997. They are very reliable, their prices are reasonable, and they do good work. They do a whole series of projects. We spend on project work and we have a monthly retainer as well. They have been amazingly available. I have even called them when neighbors have had a problem with a fallen tree. It wasn't even my responsibility, but they came and helped and negotiated the price with the neighbor and the neighbor was happy. We were motivated into putting the quality vendors into the list because we felt strongly about them and the others we didn't. We didn't want to waste anybody's time.

Although the workers don't speak English, they do a good job on my lawn. When they are done mowing, they put the grass clippings in the green waste bin for the city to pick up. My lawn looks great and I have recommended this company to several of my neighbors who also use them.

It was a waste of money. First of all, Aly himself did not show up to do the job but sent 6 of his employees. Even though the tree trimming was just a very small part of the job, that's all the employees had expertise in. They didn't know anything about trimming and pruning and told us as much. They repeatedly asked my husband how to do the work we were hiring them to do. In the end, we decided not to have them do half the work we originally wanted them to because we feared they would mess things up even more. In short, Aly told us he and his team could do a job that they really weren't qualified to do. They only thing they did well was to trim the tree which is really all they were qualified to do.

I'd lived in the house for a year and I'd neglected most of the landscaping. Leroy came by and did a great job on the entire yard, removing most all of the trimmings and leaves (his truck was full, but I was able to get rid of the rest in the green yard waste container). He was very helpful in identifying the shrubs and trees I had not been able to. He suggested some very useful maintenance items and trimmed stuff up so it'd grow properly in the future. They both worked very hard for the entire project and I thought they did a great job.
