Rich was able to keep all existing stone as this is an antique property (1864) and maintaining originality was extremely important to us. This was a very challenging job due to varying slope between the yard and the gradual ascent of the road and Rich mastered the outcome with perfect scale and size. This is a unique wall - wider and shorter than most but perfect for this property. There would be no better choice than Rich - thank you Rich and RJ Services for a job well done and many favorable comments

    The workers were/are excellent. They were efficient, timely and are professional brick layers & masons. They removed & disposed of old material, measured, layed bricks/stones, leveled, cut stone and removed & replaced landscaping. The quality of the work done is excellent. They answered all questions and showed me everything I was curious about (in ground sprinklers). It took a while to get my project done, but it was well worth the wait. My stairs/front walkway & retaining wall are beautiful !!

The walls and steps came out perfectly. Our requirements for our patio in particular were especially challenging: we wanted a more natural look, with irregular shaped flagstones laid out in a large, curved footprint. After meeting with Carlos, the owner, and receiving a quote later that same day, we agreed to move forward. Carlos did a BEAUTIFUL job adding granite and stone to the outdated cement landing outside of our front door. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted and after showing him a picture I left it up to him to execute his vision. I absolutely love the results!     Jim from American Made Masonry did some repointing masonry work on the front of my brick house, in July of 2016. I put up a 2 star review back then, but just noticed it's been taken down (obviously to keep their reviews high). I have an older brick house and the concrete mortar mix the AmericanMadeMasonry used to fix up the area was MUCH lighter than the original. After talking to some other masonries, I was told they could have easily mix the concrete mortar to match it closer to the original color. Jim seemed to pass this off and said "it would take some time for the mortar to get weathered and blend with the existing mortar on the house." It's been 5 years and I've seen no changes at all. Every time I come home, it's the first thing I see and it's quite annoying
