    We have been loyal customers of Austin Window Fashions since moving to Texas in 2003. They have provided excellent service and products. Our Hunter Douglas Duette Veriglide for the large sliding glass door broke after 13 years. After considering shutters and other options, we decided to order a new Veriglide. Our Austin Window Fashions' representative was honest and courteous. She gave us a good price and was accurate on the time of delivery. The installers, Jason and Travis, were courteous and gave us good advice on the care and maintenance of the Veriglide. They arrived on time, took down the old Duette and installed the new one in less than one hour. They cleaned the area of all debris. This was another good experience with Austin Window Fashions

    Amazing customer service and the 6 blinds we got couldn’t be more perfect. Kevin helped me pick out the perfect color and immediately after installation I could feel the difference in the room temperature. Prior to the blinds our living room had scorching afternoon sun. Plus the lighting from the blinds created a softness in the room. If you need blinds call them. Customer service amazing, communication prompt, installation fast, price excellent!     I can’t express how happy we are with the shades. Our patio faces due west, when we are outside and they are down we no longer need to wear sunglasses and it also provides you and your neighbors with some privacy. They are remote controlled and can be raised or lowered simultaneously or individually. Most importantly was the level of customer service provided. We were very comfortable with the installers being in our home. A must have in my opinion

    Kris was great. She showed us samples and helped us decide on which shutters to purchase. We went with the white wooden shutters, which were specially sized for our windows after her installer came and measured them. This happened during the beginning of the pandemic and they were very careful about this. We are very happy with how they look and function. We were a little surprised to find out that we immediately started using them every day and we still do! They looked so nice and were so convenient we got rid of all of our curtains, shades, etc. and just use the shutters now! We will definitely be using Kris Miller's company again when we purchase a house

    I have worked with Kris on multiple occasions over the past 6 years. She has helped me with wooden blinds and shutters, window treatments, re-upholestering an old chair, custom bedding and recommending an excellent painter (interior and exterior). She has always been very helpful in guiding me in color selection, showing me many options in multiple price ranges and never pressuring me into buying something I don't want or like. When I decided I didn't want custom bedding in a guest room, she honored my choice and was still more than eager in helping me decorate the room and pick the right colors and decor. When I had a plumbing disaster and several pieces of hardware were discarded accidentally, she immediately got new ones sent me to very quickly at no charge. I will continue to use Kris in the future for all my decorating needs

    Doug White answered my telephone inquiry on same day and gave me an estimate two days later. We then requested and received HOA approval and gave Doug the go ahead with work. Doug emailed us with a time estimate for work to be performed; total time from start to finish was approximately six weeks. Doug had estimated seven to eight weeks but was able to work our project in to his work schedule because he had another job in same vicinity. We are totally pleased with his work; he has also screened all of our windows. Totally recommend Dan's Screens & Things
