An appearance in the MCU wouldn't be Reeves' first attempt at playing a superhero, with cult film Constantine in 2005 claiming that honor. Reeves also plays a lead role in CD Projekt Red's infamous Cyberpunk 2077, which received wide notice in the gaming industry for being released in an unfinished state. Reeves' image was used heavily in the marketing and promotion of the game, given his popularity.
With Reeves' high demand and busy schedule, it's unknown when or if he'll make an appearance in the MCU. Reeves's popularity has transcended the movies he appears in.
