    Foundation 1 just completed a big yard project for us and did an incredible job. They buried and rerouted our downspouts, they dug a swale in our backyard and re-graded part of our yard. The supervisor of the job was incredibly kind, communicative and respectful. They kept us up to date on the progress of the work. We had two rain days in the middle of the job, they made sure to call and let us know that they wouldn't be there that day and would pick up where they left off the following day. All around very impressed with our experience with Foundation 1 from the initial quote to the final product and will definitely utilize them for any future needs

    The team at K-Guard have been great with which to work and have been extremely fair. Our sales representative, John, was very polite, informative, and extremely helpful resolving a misunderstanding, which resolution made our purchase possible. John was also very thorough in leading us through the process and with the follow up. Our installers, Michael, and Jeremy were extremely polite, informative, and very accommodating. Michael walked me through the process before the work even really started. He even talked to me regarding a couple of suggestions. Michael laid his thoughts in a very logical process and in such a clear manner that my wife & I were quickly convinced to make these minor changes that really improved the look and appeal while also making the drainage process more efficient. Michael and Jeremy were also exceptionally courteous and informative when our two-year-old granddaughter wanted to know what they were doing. The K-Guard Team members demonstrated they are one of the most important assets K-Guard. After considerable research, we landed upon K-Guard as the best solution for our replacement gutters. We had Leaf Guard Gutters on a commercial building that we owned, and while they were great, we experienced some issues with them. My research for an even better solution resulted in learning that K-Guard seemed to address the Lear Guard Gutters weaknesses. While mentioning this to a K-Guard Team member, he advised me that the designer of Leaf Guard Gutter left that company and developed G-Guard gutters as an improvement over his earlier design. Tests on the installed K-Guard Gutters on our home have demonstrated that the designer did in fact make improvements that addressed weakness in his earlier design. There is no doubt that K-Guard Gutters cost more than normal gutters, but if you have the money to invest in your home, you need to look at K-Guard Gutters as they are worth every penny that you invest and more

    All went well. Patrick is a nice and knowledgeable person. He came earlier to see what we had questions about and give us his opinion and estimate for what might be needed and helpful. We set up a time and he and a helper (forgot his name) arrived as planned. They cleaned the gutters, checking slopes with a level, repositioned those that needed it, sealed seams, replaced one section so we could relocate the downspout, fixed some of the inner and outer corners. The replaced section revealed some wood damage behind and they took a break to allow us to patch and paint the damaged area. They returned a few hours later, installed the new section and finished up. We feel their service was done well. Of course now we're not having rain, so we can't report with assurance that the rain collection and drainage is improved, but I feel pretty sure it will be based on what they did. I would call them again

    Gutters and fascia boards look amazing and the price was reasonable BUT the customer service needs a lot of work: Gutters were installed much earlier than expected with minimal oversight needed from me. That was a nice but very frustrating surprise as I work in an office and not at home. The Ring doorbell notified me of their arrival even though they called the morning of but didn't really leave a voicemail. I repeatedly told them I have a severe hearing disability and that I'm deaf and they kept calling me after I instructed multiple times that texting and email would guarantee a faster response from me. When the project was confirmed they couldn't give me a hard date in which I needed because I wanted to replace the fascia boards myself to prepare for their arrival and decrease labor costs. After project confirmation, they told me they would call me in a few weeks to set a date as they are busy but they never called and they showed up out of the blue ready to work on my unprepared house. Their extremely unplanned early arrival made it impossible for me to prepare for them and ended up causing me to spend more on labor and materials as I felt very rushed to work with their schedule. My partner works from home but was very frustrated that the unexpected arrival and noise caused our pets to freak out and he wasn't able to prepare his workday for the interruptions. Another thing to note is that the payment methods are not listed anywhere in the website or the invoice. It is 2021 and I'm under 30 years old and haven't needed to use a check since 2015 so I had to run to the bank for a sheet of paper checks assuming that is the required payment method. Why aren't there any options to pay electronically on the website using the invoice/account number? That technology and website feature has been around for a very long time. Younger demographics are entering homeownership so the company should really consider adapting modern communication that accommodate disabilities and different payment methods. Because of this, I probably will not recommend this company to my peers. The whole experience left me feeling very frustrated as a deaf young individual with much less money in the bank account. At least the gutters look amazing and the prices were reasonable
