    Last night the torsion spring on our garage door broke. Nothing else appeared to be damaged. Smitty called me within 10 minutes of reaching out to him. We talked for a minute and he agreed to come over right away. He called about 3 hours later to say he was on his way. He came right in, took a quick look at everything, and got right to work replacing both springs. He also replaced the spring rod bearing plates and one of my sensors, which had been damaged for years. He and his assistant Jerry were done in about an hour. Because of the add-ons (which we discussed and I authorized in advanced) the cost was a little more than I was expecting. Smitty and Jerry were fast, polite and totally professional. If I have trouble with my garage door again, I will definitely contact him to do the work

    Super smooth transaction and repair. Jeremy was the only garage door company to give me a quote via text which I appreciated very much. Several other companies didn't want to tell me a price over the phone and wanted to send someone out for a fee. That didn't sound right to me. Jeremy was prompt for the service call, spent about 45 minutes replacing the springs, and the cost was exactly what he told me it would be. Can't get any easier or better than that.     Will not call Precision again for anything. They installed a new garage door balanced not even with the home due to home leveling maybe a 1.5 inch uneven from left to right leaving a gap when fully closed. Precision would not level door with home. They left with door uneven needles to say that problem was fixed within a hour not by them. Upon further inspection of all the hardware screws and bolts I found several bolt not torqued. I had to tighten at least 5 to 6 bolts. Travel rail the garage door rolls on are not aligned correctly. While door is opening it would make a popping noise upon fully open position. During my observation I noticed the roller rods was causing the popping noise during opening from rails misalignment. That problem I had to fix also. Now my garage door operate and performs quietly like it should. I could care less about their stinking warranty let it be voided for repairing their mess. This is definitely a company I will never call or suggest to anyone ever again. It's a shame you have to check behind a company workmanship and cleanup their mess. Being in manufacturing you see a lot of shoddy workmanship, but from a company with this particular name I expected better results! What a insult to the word "Precision". Check behind them on everything if you ever use them. Or you will be calling them back for unnecessary repair that could have been avoided if done right the first time
