Recent Review: This is by far one of the best companies we have found using Angie's List. Eric, his on-site project manager, and the whole team did a very high quality job for me. I am an out of state home owner trying to get a house repaired and sold from out of state and I trusted this team with my house and a very aggressive timeline. They delivered in every way. From the beginning, Eric showed me via FaceTime that the necessary work was actually more than anticipated. I could see for myself the full scope of the project and he was upfront and honest from the beginning about the scope, the estimated costs, the anticpated problems we might run into. They accomplished all of the agreed upon work plus a few other add-ons in the timeframe I needed and all of the work was quality work. I can't speak highly enough of this company. Courteous, respectful, thorough, and really quality work. The house was amazing when they were finished, even coming back for touch-ups, and working around other trades. The house received an offer within 24 hours and I couldn't have done it without Eric and his team. I highly recommend Somerset to do your big and little jobs!

Recent Review: We tried to warn another "professional" painter that the room we wanted done needed extensive prep work due to poor wall condition (drywall paper rips) and a previous bad paint job (drips and drops everywhere). Larry took the time to come out and see with his own eyes what the room was going to need and provided a description and quote on the spot. At first we thought it was a little high ($350 for one little room??), but agreed to it considering the "cheap" guys were only $50-100 less. In hindsight, considering the amount of work needed to make that room look good, it was completely and absolutely reasonable. He arrived on time for both the quote and the work, and was courteous and professional the entire time. He painted the ceiling with ease, and sanded the walls down with a power sander and patched and primed. He taped with real painter's tape (not yucky cheap masking tape), covered our flooring, and put on two coats of the paint we provided (Sherwin Williams). He also spruced up our wood trim - I thought we were going to have to replace it (and we still might some day), but he made it look much better. It 's great to find someone who takes pride in their work and doesn't sloppily rush through it to hurry up and get to the next job. He managed our expectations well (in terms of when he would be available, etc.) and I look forward to hiring him again in the future as soon as we pick out our colors.

Recent Review: Kevin showed up on-time for the estimate (in fact, he was early). He was friendly and courteous and agreed to paint our house before we moved in and when the house was unoccupied. When we arrived at the house, we were pleasantly surprised to see everything was done exactly as was promised. Kevin also came over to make sure that we were satisfied with the results. We told him about a minor little problem, and he had his crew over on Friday morning to fix it. Kevin was very professional, and I would recommend him to others.
