    I tried to install my smart thermostat without a C-wire. I'd installed it just fine in my previous house but this one was a nightmare. Ended up throwing my hands up in frustration and calling All Temp. The entire service was 5-star. They originally scheduled the call for 1-5pm. Ended up calling to ask if I would be home early if the tech made it. I said sure thing. They called a little later to let me know it was going to end up being around 2pm because the last call got a little hairy. No problem. Tech called me 30 minutes before he showed up, exactly as promised. So, great communication throughout the day letting me know time frames and possible adjustments. No surprises. When Ed Baharopoulos (technician) showed up he was fully masked, no nose hanging out, and super polite. He let me explain the problem I was having (rather than shove me aside and ignore my info), investigated the issue letting me know step by step what he was looking at, fixed the issue letting me know what was wrong and how he was fixing it, pointed out things I could do myself as regular maintenance, etc. The whole issue was poor wiring from the previous owner. Ed never even spoke ill of that, he just pointed out what was wrong and how to fix it...and he ran the C-wire for me. $200 and I was up and running, better educated, and loaded with a list of things I can do myself to prevent more expensive repairs later. I will absolutely call All Temp again, should I need more work done

    I have been using The Scottish Plumber for many years. I made an appointment for my parent’s house as their basement flooded and the sewer water was very high. Frankie came out and explained things very clearly. He was the best. With all the rain we had, he first checked the city sewer water level and it was flowing very good or not backed up. We have a sewer clean out in the front yard so he rodded the sewer lines from there and pulled out a lot of tree roots. Our tenants upstairs may be flushing wipes as this was noticeable as well. Once these were cleared out the basement water drained out quickly. The service and communication was the best throughout. They also arrived on time even though they had a truck breakdown

    I contacted Skyline Appliance Repair during the week from 2/1/2022 to 2/7/2022 and again during the week of 2/7/2022-2/14/2022. I called them several times and no one answered the phone so I left a detailed voice message of the problem with my telephone number. I waited several days and NO ONE RETURNED MY CALL. I called them again and got the same result. I finally decided that I was going to call them one last time and got through to a rep whose name I won't mention and scheduled an appointment for home service. On the day of the appointment I waited from 11-1 (the designated time window) and no one called or showed up. Keep in mind that I work nights, so I was tired and needed to go to sleep. About 45 minutes later I got a voice mail message from a rep saying they will "try to fit me in today" which were his exact words. I called back several times and AGAIN, got no answer. A couple hours later I finally got through and spoke to a rep who reiterated rescheduling the service. I was fed up and told him that I was going to hire someone else. These past two weeks we have had really bad weather in the Chicago area but what does that have to do with returning phone calls in a timely fashion and being courteous? NOTHING! My experience with Skyline Appliance Repair left me with the firm belief that this company is disorganized and mismanaged. Maybe if your reading this you will have better luck.     I contacted Yabi by cell phone, and he was responsive and courteous. He was able to schedule me in the next 24 hours, but had a cancellation and was able to arrive same-day. He was able to quickly diagnose and repair the unit, and was able to give recommendations on preventing the same event. He also noticed a few minor issues and gave recommendations on improving function. Overall, I would happily use him again, and would readily recommend to friends and family
