Recent Review: Big Red replied quickly, met me at my house and provided me with an estimate within a day or two. (This was actually the second time I had them price this up - several years apart). Both times Beth came on site and was very professional and knowledgeable. They were not the cheapest price (I went with another Angie's List contractor) but comparing the quotes I think Big Red's proposal was more thorough. They were going to thicken the slab and add more rebar around where the hot tub would sit and they priced rebar vs wire mesh that the other contractor used. Also, the contractor I did end up using didn't excavate down as far as Big Red planned to do (with gravel base). If the difference in price wasn't so large I would have liked to have given them the job but we were able to save several thousand with someone else. The other contractor did a great job, I just get the impression that they cut a few corners in the process that Big Red would not have done.

Recent Review: We were looking to replace our deck and contacted Jeremy at Alexander Homes. Jeremy came to our home and discussed our project. He brought samples and took measurements. We made decisions on replacing the deck the same size using composite. Later we decided to add a screened in porch and to have a concrete pad poured beneath it. We also upgraded our initial composite selection to ?Azek?. The concrete pad took awhile to pour due to all the rains. Yet the forms were ready to go as soon as there was a break in the weather. Once the concrete was poured the project moved swiftly. All the work preformed was done professionally. Jeremy was in contact with us at all phases and we felt very fortunate to have him and his team work on our home. The ceiling is cedar with a gable which opens up more of a view. Sky lights and lighting for the stairs were also installed. Jeremy custom built a door for the entrance which was the finishing touch to our patio. All work done is superior in craftsmanship. Clean-up was taken care of at each stage. This upgrade to our home is a focal point, and looks much nicer than ever imagined.

Recent Review: The stamped patio came out nice, but the brick edging did not last one season, The bricks have sunk and separated from the patio and have fallen off in multiple places. All the concrete area underneath the brick is crumbling and will continue to sink. I have repeatedly tried to contact the owner of Concrete Concepts. He assured me he will fix it, but he does not return my calls and texts and he does not come when he says he will. This has been going on for months. Now it is winter and it is too late to get it fixed this season. I got an estimate from another contractor of $1000 to get this fixed. This is very upsetting because we spent over 10K on the project. He told me he was coming the week of 11/12/2018. He did not come and did not call to cancel or explain. I gave a fair rating only because the stamped portion of the patio is okay.

Recent Review: Everything went very well. Listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly what was contracted. The front porch was removed and a new, larger porch poured in its place, along with the sidewalk leading from the driveway to the porch. The deck on the back of the house was removed, the existing patio beneath the deck was demoed and a new larger patio was poured. The specific design requested was laid out and verified with us and then the patio was poured. They got most of the work done in 1 day, putting several folks on the project who worked hard to get the project looking great. Final touches added a few days later. Looks great and works wonderfully.

Recent Review: They did a wonderful job!! This is the second time that we had them out to do work for us. Both times was a great experience and would have them back again and would recommend them to everyone that need concrete work. We also got several bids and they were very competitive in price plus the fact they got to our job both times quicker than expected. This is a great company to get the job you want done!!!!

Recent Review: Jeremy was great to work with. He came out for an estimate promptly after my initial phone call. We needed to replace our backyard patio slab since it was cracked and sloped towards the house. This job had some challenges since our gate wasn't wide enough to allow their standard equipment to get through the gate. We also found that we had to remove part of our deck since the steps up to the deck overlapped the sloping slab. Jeremy's quote was very reasonable for this additional work that this job required, especially when I compared his estimate against other bids. The job was completed within 2 days and his team cleaned up everything as they found it.
