MR.Ackeno from HSM was a real professional , patient, courteous did excellent work and respected my property.They made sure everything worked properly before leaving, and when they finished, they left their area neat and clean. I couldn't ask for more. Thanks very much, Mr.Ackeno & HSM

Plumbing, Heating & A/C Replaced a steam radiator and Installed a service valve. Also i was having a problem with my boiler due to poor workmanship (incorrect piping) from a previous repairman, Mr. Ackeno went above and beyond to correct my problem.

A shame there is no option for negative stars here. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a "contractor." Ackemo lied, cheated, delayed, denied, and never got the job done, after charging us a painfully high price. Do not be sucked in - as we were - by his prompt initial response to your project bid. He'll show up right away, do some fraction of the project, bill you, never come back on time or as promised over weeks and months.

Turnaround was very quick. He did a free quote and installed a new water boiler within two days. He was able to answer technical questions and explain exactly what was wrong in terms I could verify. He also broke down the invoices so I make pay with multiple credit cards. He places a sticker on the boiler with his contact info incase there is ever an issue with the boiler. He also cleaned up after himself and helped me reorganize the boiler room after the installation as I also use it for storage space. Lastly, he carried the old boiler and put it in a storage area in case we ever need it for parts. His quote was $4,000 less than the quote provided by our previous plumber.

Ackeno of HSM installed a Navien NCB 240/130H and some filters, valves, etc as part of the install Every thing was great with the install and has been working great since. Communication was good and he did everything he agreed to, for the price agreed, and in the timing agreed. I have already hired him for other jobs and referred him to friends. Ackeno is my go to for all plumbing jobs

I cannot recommend Ackeno highly enough. He is a great communicator, truly responsive, clear and honest about the scope of work, careful and thorough in his workmanship. He does the job right the first time and helps you plan ahead for the future. We needed our entire sewer line replaced & he worked with us on a price we could afford for a huge job. I highly recommend him!

HSM did a great job. Ackeno outlined the work being performed and how it was being completed in detail. The work and pricing was within scope. He answered any questions I asked in detail and made me comfortable as they worked on job. The team was on time, completed the work on schedule and cleaned up after finishing the job. He came and did an initial assessment of the job. He said that it would cost $175 and that it would be altered when he do the job. The service was not great it was catastrophe! He was deceitful, the problem is above where he was trying to check it to. I knew what the problem was, but he was trying to sell us something. We stopped the job, when he came back I told him again and where it was coming from is not the area where he said it was coming. He is not listening to what I was saying. I am just a little upset about that because he was lying to us. REBUTTAL TO PROVIDER RESPONSE: Correction: The job that was completed was not a separate job. It was part of the first job, thrown in as an incentive, when in fact he knew that that was the true origin of the leak. (Visible stains on ceiling tile and rusted pipe) Ackeno intentionally misguided us by diverting the problem to a lower stack pipe which reportedly would have to partially be cut and replaced. (A difference between $250 and $1100. Time elapsed because we questioned his assessment: it was not plausible. In hindsight, water travels down not up! Now we are left with repairing a wall which did not have to be cut. It's a question of integrity. The plumber's dishonesty is disheartening.

On Monday February 7th, at 3:00 p.m we attended a service call to the above client(s). Upon arrival we discussed that there was a service charge of $175 (which will be included in the cost to do the job if they agreed to use us) both parties (clients) agreed. After completing the diagnostic (3:40 p.m) and informed the client(s) what the issue was, we then discussed a price of $1250 to do the job; which we discounted to $1100 to suit the client(s). Even after the negotiation the client(s) were still undecided about giving us the green light, and time was against us to complete the job. Client final made a decision at 5:15 p.m (made a $250 deposit) that we should do the job. At this point the supply house was closed, however we rescheduled for February 8th to start & complete the job. Five(5) minutes after leaving, the customer called to cancel the job noting that they would like us to do another job. This job could have been completed while we were there. The items for this job didn’t required us to go to the supply house, as they were on the company vehicle. Upon receiving the cancellation phone call we reschedule the job, and refunded the $250 deposit(in full). We returned to client(s) on Friday February 11th to do the second job they requested( which is change toilet wax ring $250, toilet speedy valve $85, discounted service charge $125 from original $175=$460 +taxes=$500.83) client(s) paid $500 via zelle. ***Please note that the $125 discounted service charge was added to the last quotation, because the job could have been completed on the first day Monday February 7th if client(s) were concrete on what they wanted to be done. We were there from 3:00 p.m - 5:15 p.m waiting on an answer in regards to getting the job. By being clear on the February 7th would have saved us the additional overhead extended to February 11th.Robert D.

The company is unlicensed he has no right to work with us, he gave a different name and gave his personal number. He showed up until we send money to his personal account instead of the company's account. He said that we will not pay tax so we send it to his personal account and the the price is twice than the one he told me in the initial. He refused to return my money back, this way he can make estimate a day and leave very nicely and its a scam.

I’m sorry that you feel that way. I pride myself in excellent customer service as you can see from my previous reviews. I collected a non refundable service fee of $150, only AFTER coming to your home and accessing the job. I was honest from start to finish. Customer insisted on an estimate PROR to me seeing what needed to be done. I advised her the service would be $1200 or MORE depending on the amount of work that had to be done. The plumber Asheno was the most respectful person I have come across in many years. Every-time i called he was helpful and replied immediately. He wire his PPE equipment at all times. Though there is more work to be done he was honest to chart out prices, immediate needs, and those that could wait which as a single mom on a budget was a relief. The work and attention to details was adhere to at all times. I called many of those discount or nationally known plumbing companies that not only took advantage of me they also said i would have to break walls however Asheno did all the work without having to break any walls not to bad for a house with 1930 plumbing.
