  From inception to finish the job was simply WELL DONE! We had to postpone of 2 weeks the installment due to personal reasons and we were well accommodated. On July 30, 2021 three crews arrived to our home with 3 vehicles. They covered our furnitures and floors with sheets of plastic, canvas and cardboard and worked precisely and accurately first to dismantle and then to install our newly made windows. The team spoke rarely and each member worked seriously, indefatigably, with high profession and autonomy. No, radio played, no distraction of phone. We observed in awe the individual and the team work that proceeded and ended with only 2 very brief breaks. We would like to thank in particular the Installers of the Simi Valley Branch Roberto, Jose V., Richard and their Team Jose S., Emanuel, Justin #2, Emidio M. each and all very meticulous, strong, clean and owner of mastery in their jobs. We are congratulating the Owners and the Leaders of American Vision Windows, Simi Valley for their business and a good job well done!   Gina Perrin and Laura Cox were very knowledgeable sales people, and both took the time to answer all my questions, as well as help me pick the best possible package for my home. The installation could not have run more smoothly. Gabriel and his crew: Jose S., Carlos, Eddie, Manuel, Jeremy, Luis M., and Justin R. were fast, friendly, and professional. Installation of 27 windows was completed on a 2-story house in about 7 hours! I was blown away. They cleaned up behind themselves really well, too. My house is now quiet, cool, and beautiful!   This my experience with Horizon Construction and Remodeling, and why I recommend them. This is the second time that I have hired a contractor. The first time was a bathroom remodel, and it was a disaster, so I was very apprehensive about hiring another contractor. We needed to remodel our kitchen, so I had no choice. I did my due diligence and research and called three companies to interview. All three I had no prior knowledge of or experience with. Out of the three bids, there was a high, a medium, and a low. After talking to them one more time I went with the medium bid company. That company is called Horizon Construction and Remodeling. It turns out I made the right choice. My experience with this company is the complete opposite from my first experience with a contractor. My Project Manager was Mark, who did an outstanding job of keeping the project moving quickly efficiently. His crews showed up on time, were professional and did quality work, from plumbing to electrical to framing to painting to cabinets all were done to my satisfaction. If something was not done to my satisfaction (which was rare), I just let Mark know about it and he would send someone to either redo or touch-up the work. Mark would visit the job site frequently. I feel Mark is honest and has his customer’s best interest at heart. There were a couple of times when he could have charged me extra money for items that came up during the project, but he did not. Like any project we had to make some changes along the way, and Mark is very willing to work with you to make sure that you get what you want. Mark will listen to your ideas plus he has many ideas himself. He helped us a lot with our kitchen design. They started my project Oct. 11, 2001. My wife and I were hoping to have the project done by Christmas. They had it done in 7 weeks in time for Thanksgiving! The inside staff is led be Enna. They make sure everything is ordered on time. They even arrange for inspections. They are very polite and efficient and responsive. We are doing our doors and windows next and we going to have Horizon Construction and Design do the work.   I completely renovation my 1 bedroom condo in the City of Fullerton. Everything was removed from flooring walls kitchen bathroom walk in closet. The outcome was outstanding. I couldn't believe how great everyting. Turnedd out.. Every time I come home it's like walking into a model home.. I enjoy Everything and my favorite place is kitchen and patio BBQing and watching sports on my new patio TV

  The painters were here on schedule every day. They covered everything to avoid getting paint where it wasn't supposed to be. They removed pictures from the walls and moved furniture out of the way, and put everything back in its place when done. Their painting was meticulous and the finished work is beautiful. The price was reasonable and we would definitely hire them again

  Horizon construction & Remodeling remodeled/updated both my master and the main bathrooms, which were in their original mid-60s construction state. David Eskin and his team of tradesmen helped bring my vision to fruition. As with any project, once the walls were opened up, some revisions were required; based upon their expertise and experience, Horizon was able to provide a few suggestions and a few “tweaks” to address these revisions. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Both bathrooms are much more functional and beautiful! Horizon also did some minor improvements in my laundry area – again improving the functionality and looks! Note: Remodeling costs did not cover much of the material costs. I had already selected and/or purchased some of the building materials; I did research and purchase much of the remaining materials (tub, vanities, tiles). Horizon does have its own showroom, and could have provided these at an additional cost. However, because I already had a firm idea as to what I wanted, I handled the ordering of these myself

  I needed exterior painting done at my house. I received a quote from 5 different companies. The others told me what they wouldn't do and then their high price. Berger's was the most reasonable. Steve was very patient and informative. He walked me through what the paint project entailed. There was stucco work that needed to be done prior to painting which they took care of fabulously. On a daily basis his guys came out every morning on time, cleaned up before leaving, and were very helpful in answering my questions as well as they were progressing through the project. They even did a few extra things that I had not asked them for in regards to painting. The project took one week to complete. Two days later I noticed there were a few spots that needed touch-up. The guys came back out right away to retouch. I am very pleased with the work they did. I would definitely hire them again and would definitely recommend them to others

  This employee-vested company excels in customer care. Even though their price wasn’t the cheapest for my window replacement, I went with this company because I like their values and their vibe. And I have absolutely no regrets! Carlos and Eddie finished the install in short order today and my windows are gorgeous! I would definitely use this company again

  We hired SOD Home Group for our complete home remodel, and the results are amazing. We’re the owners of a 5,300 square foot home in Los Angeles area that we purchased new in 2005. After all those exceptional years with our three children and pets, it was way pastime for repairs and a refresh. We interviewed several general contractors, and we selected Oren and his team at SOD Home Group because of their experience, knowledge, and vision for our home. They transformed our outdated, worn-out home into a modern showcase. They took the house down to the wood framing. They removed walls to open up the house. They installed bigger, modern windows to open up the house to the outside. Doors were replaced. The kitchen was refreshed with new cabinets & upgraded appliances, floors and a much bigger center island. The upstairs balcony was rebuilt with a modern glass railing. Walk-in showers were installed in all the bathrooms. They designed and installed a unique revolving television wall in our master bathroom. The construction crew always worked hard to please us. Oren, who managed our project, carefully tracked the project and made sure every detail was properly completed. SOD Home Group’s designer.   Needed a basement trap door to be hinged and create an easier way to open. Piers also repaired a rotted threshold and left it so much better than it was. He is an experienced knowledgeable worker and I will hire him for other projects. We have a 100 year old home and it needs a higher level of expertise. I found that in Ps handyman services.
