The Apple Cloud Platform organization is building the next generation of tools empowering Apple’s software developers to build products that surprise and delight our customers. The Software Development Platform is responsible for the cutting edge of continuous integration and delivery systems that Apple’s developers utilize to build, test and deploy their code. We're a fast paced, cross-functional organization with results-oriented goals, a strong user base, and a wide leash to build the future of developer tooling at Apple.   • Have designed developer tools on web pages, command lines, and/or APIs.
  • Have a good understanding of Kubernetes and/or other Cloud Native technologies.

Description

YOU MIGHT WORK ON... - Designing websites, CLIs, APIs, SDKs, and client libraries for our internal cloud platform. - Running user studies, designing experiments, and eliciting requirements from a variety of sources, including qualitative and quantitative data. - Simplifying the path from zero to prod for our developers, abstracting their intent from irrelevant implementation details. - Improving developers’ access to relevant information about their systems, including alerts, logs, traces, and metrics. - Designing developer facing tooling to define and deploy applications across multiple cloud environments. - Collaborating with internal developers to understand their needs and designing the tools that will match them.
