It's absolutely amazing news that Branch magazine has won the Prix Ars Electronica Award for Digital Humanity.

I'm so delighted to be involved in this project and I'm so proud of the team for winning this prize. πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ»

In a climate emergency, the proposed new coal mine in West Cumbria is complete lunacy and must be stopped.

I've just made a donation to the campaign to launch a legal challenge against the decision to approve the mine.

If you can, please do the same: crowdjustice.com/case/westcumb

Excellent to see @[email protected] on @[email protected] This is surely the future of ride-hailing services in towns and cities! πŸ’š 🚲

This is one of the most extraordinary things I've ever read and listened to. If this doesn't bring down Putin, I don't know what will. Alexei Navalny has enormous balls. bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-55

While Google's down, I want to take the opportunity to highlight the new, "carbon neutral", addition in its footer that links to its sustainability policy. Pleased to see this.

Thank you.

I'm immensely proud of the work I've done on this project!

It has been a real privilege collaborating with the team behind it.

Still work to do of course. A website is never finished (or at least, not when I'm involved!). πŸ’š

Last weekend I watched the NZ elections where a Labour/Green coalition has been re-elected. It was both uplifting and depressing to see people hugging each other and leading normal lives. With a competent government, it didn't have to be like this. Never forget it. πŸ’š

The Green Party leaders' speech at conference is occurring right now. It isn't being broadcast on any mainstream news channel. 😞

This morning I have written to all of the councillors on @[email protected]'s Development Control and Regulation Committee. They are due to meet this Friday to consider a proposal to develop a new coal mine. I am imploring them to reject this proposal: blog.jacklenox.com/2020/09/28/

It has been a long and difficult road, but it's immensely satisfying to see this first step. Lots more work to do now! πŸ’š

I bookmarked this a little while ago and finally got round to reading it. It's bloody brilliant. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ
