Is there any different version of Khasi spoken outside of India? If not, then we’d probably settle for just “kha” in this case.

  I can see that you’ve found the right place to contribute Mongolian translations, namely https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/mn
  However, as you can see in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=mn the localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ is not very active right now.
  It would be good if you could join the global SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. team for WordPress contributors via https://make.wordpress.org/chat/ and get in touch with @uranbold (handle in Slack is uranbold ) for access and getting up to speed with Mongolian translations. Any questions around how we work with translations in general are best asked in the Slack channel “polyglots”.
