A WordPress meetup group can do many different types of events with many different formats. There are a few ideas mentioned in the meetup organiser’s handbook and for the most part that are incremental modifications of standard meetup events. There are some event formats, however, that require a more structured framework that we provide to comunity organisers. Those event formats require more specific support from us, so we will cover those here and add more as the need arises.
