An H-E-B on the Southeast Side was evacuated on Monday night when an unknown person called in a bomb threat, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

SAPD responded to the bomb threat incident at the H-E-B plus! at 4100 S New Braunfels Avenue around 8 p.m. yesterday, December 13, according to the report.

The grocery store had already been evacuated when officers arrived. The store manager told police that the unknown person called the store and said a bomb was placed inside.

Officers then entered the store but found nothing suspicious. They remained on the scene to assist patrons.

No arrests have been made and SAPD says it is investigating the case.
