Quality of work was good. They started late some days, and didn't give me a bill or a receipt. Promised to bring it the next day but never showed up.

He does excellent work. He is very clean and neat. He is very fair with change orders. If he didn't use something purchased for this remodel he would not charge the bill. He brought any issue directly to us immediately. We eventually trusted him enough with the code to our alarm system so he could continue this work when we were not home. He is absolutely outstanding.

I am very happy with the work that was done by Cal Preserving. Bruce Watkins delivered on everything that was promised on his website and did it in a professional and timely manner. He has a large crew so the work was completed quickly and the results are excellent. My 515 sq ft ,12 yr old redwood deck was repaired, power washed, bleached and preserved in 4 days and it looks like new again. I initially called Bruce after a lot of research and other estimates and chose him because of the testimonials and the services he offered. The crew was willing to move and replace the furniture and plants on the deck. The deck had areas that needed repair including replacement of boards and setting of nails and screws. The sanding was a critical component of the excellent result and worth the price. Bruce asked for no money until the job was completed and I was satisfied with the results. I will be using this company in the future and highly recommend them to others. I would not have heard of them except for Angie's list and appreciated both that referral and the Angie's list coupon they offered. They certainly deserve the Angie's list Super Service award.

I had to have a complete rem joist, support beams, and the decking all replaced on a portion of my deck to meet minimum 20 ft. above the ground as a specialized requirement. I liked the price, the job was done professionally, and on time. They were a lot cheaper then others were quoting. I was very happy with their work.

It was a really bad experience that he was not able to do the job properly and he is incompetent. I needed to hire a new contractor to get the job done, And the repair for the damages he did is quite expensive.

I picked up this company because I saw one of their staff members working on a house when I was walking by. I was very impressed by what he was doing. After I called the office, the manager Jeremy came to my house several times to assess what needed to be done. He is an excellent guy. He did a thorough assessment and explained to me what the plan would be and gave me some suggestions. He was very honest and openly discussed with me what options I had. Besides needing to install the drainage pipes and pump, he also suggested connecting the main drainage pipes to the tool shed trench, because the tool shed trench had no outlet. Before the project started, when I had questions, he always responded very quickly and he updated me frequently when they would start the project because their schedule was very tight. During the process, the workers are excellent and very efficient. They did an awesome job. When they started this project, I also wanted to add another project to add concrete to my side path. Jeremy came again and did another assessment and gave me a very reasonable price. I am very satisfied with what they did for me. In the middle of the process, when the first Lead Foreman had a medical problem, Jeremy tried very hard to arrange the second Lead Foreman to come help. I was very impressed. The whole process ran very smoothly. I highly recommended this company. No matter their field workers or the office workers, they are all very nice, professional, and efficient. They are willing to answer your questions and work with you.

Our large deck was sorely neglected - no maintenance in at least 8 years - and I worried it was beyond help or would be cost-prohibitive to rehabilitate. Rupert and Michael breathed new life into it! Rupert (company principle) is very responsive, and he was able to give a quick informal estimate based on some photos and I texted. This made it very easy to start working together right away. Now the deck looks beautiful, and they were able to stain our wooden deck furniture to match. Great makeover for our deck and lovely folks to work with!

Chris and Mike (Chris' main man) were punctual, friendly and easy to work with. Chris was very responsive to texts and phone calls on timing and material changes. We have no hesitation about recommending Chris and will very likely to use him on an even more expensive deck repair in a few months.

He was very organized in setting up for the job. He was meticulous but fast in his work - the joins in the siding were perfect.
