We had a small aging pool in our backyard that we no longer wanted. Within only a couple of weeks after I contacted Lassiter Excavating (aka Pool It Out), the pool is gone and the area is ready for landscaping. They took care to adequately compact the fill soil, saved some of the pavers and rock I wanted to reuse, avoided damage to the hardscape I wanted to retain, and left a tidy and well executed landscape area. Bryce and Carlos were wonderful to work with - prompt, professional, quick, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for pool removal.

The job went smooth and quick. The crew was there on time and all of the men were very professional. I am very happy with the work that was done and the price.

Project went very well. Bob and Mel were both very nice and extremely responsive to our schedule and numerous questions. They arrived before 8am each day except when when we were letting the concrete cure. They quickly had a crew in to remove the old patio and cement on day 1. They cleared it all out and kept our front yard clean when they were done for the day. Digging and grading over the next few days was a long process. Some workers were better than others. The guy who did the framing for our steps-Randy, I think, was super detailed in making sure all measurements were exact. But a younger worker didn't dig the grading to the drains deep enough. My husband measured after rebar was in and found some spots would allow for only 1 inch of cement. They sent other guys in to re do the digging on Sat and Sunday. Bob said he would have caught that and fixed before the pour but that is tough to know... After set up was finalized and edited to be exactly what we wanted, pour went very quickly. They did a great job with grading the cement snd not creating any divot areas where water would puddle. Seams were also very nice and done with curves which we weren't expecting but look fantastic. They came back a day or two after the pour, cleaned up most stuff and removed the wood frames. They wanted final payment then but I wanted to wait until all finish work was done before paying the last $1k. This didnt make them happy and it got a little awkward i am glad I held to that. It then it went back to friendly and professional. It took two workers about 4 hours to grind down the edges, patch a few spots on the steps and paint the house where the concrete had splattered. We provided the paint. Friends and family rave about the work and we will recommend them to others.

I originally hired New Image Landscaping to do some cleanup work in my front yard, and was so pleased with the work that Sergio and his crew did that I brought them back to do some additional work in the front yard and land scape the entire back yard. My backyard was a complete mess and needed quite a bit of work done. Several sections of the fence had fallen down and another section was rotten. Sergio and his crew put in a beautiful new fence and a gate. The fence allows for much needed privacy which we did not have before, and the gate is easier to open and more accessible. Lots and lots of work had to be done in the back yard. The area was uneven and needed to be leveled and graded, the irrigation system needed a complete overhaul. In one section of the yard that was the most uneven, it was leveled and new gravel was laid. In another section the irrigation had to be completely redone before the new lawn was put in. The terraced hill required new landscaping, and several other areas were cleaned up and new mulch was placed. My front yard looked terrible, some of the old plants needed to be removed and repositioned and new plantings to be put in, and the drip system did not work. Sergio and his crew added new plants, removed and repositioned some the old plants, trimmed over grown hedges and fixed the drip system. My front yard is now a thing of beauty. New Image Landscaping is the best service provider I have ever used from Angie’s List. Sergio is reliable, hardworking, HONEST, responsive and meticulous about his work. Sergio fixed a broken latch on a gate and it was not in the contract. I have several additional projects I need to complete, and I can’t image hiring any company other than New Image Landscaping. I highly recommend New Image Landscaping.

Jose was our contact and he was fantastic. This is the kind of service we would all like to have when dealing with a company. He always did what he said he was going to do, he was patient as we chose the pavers and design, he showed up for every appointment on time and he was extremely accommodating. If we wanted to change something he was very amenable and he did not nickle and dime us. We had 7 estimates and researched all kinds of ways to deal with our cracked, two level and old concrete patio. His estimate was not only the most reasonable in price, but he convinced us that our severe drainage problem could be fixed using his method. We were very worried about this aspect of the job, as water has pooled there for years, in spite of various efforts to fix it. Not only does it now look fabulous, but this week we have had our first rains (2-3 inches!) and there is not a drop of water pooling on the patio. We are very, very pleased with the work he did for us.

Dropped off heavy equipment the night before. We got the city permits ourselves. Richie did all of the demo one day, waited for the interim inspection, then did fill the next day. Our electrical panel was kind of a mess, so he called an electrician to do the circuit removal. Left everything immaculate.

During the crazy heavy rains of Spring 2018, my below grade fireplace facia was leaking water! After several misdiagnosis from "professionals" (including contractors and fireplace professionals and water proofing companies), Basement Masters was one of the few that identified the problem accurately and provided the solution that made sense to me, even though it was more expensive than the interior home trench option most offered. They listened to the problem. I did get some alternative quotes for an exterior dig and water proofing once I understood what the problem really was. Basement Masters had a competitive price. But what really sold me was the down to earth approach the owner took on this project. They were very fair with me when I needed some additional work during the job and didn't take advantage of price gouging. They are a small shop so communication sometimes took longer than you'd hope, but it was during the crazy rain season where everyone's basements were leaking. Lastly, I had to manage this project remotely and had them work with my tenant, and they were nothing but professional throughout the process.

Team arrived at 7:00 am and worked until 4-4:30. They were respectful and did a good job. If there were any concerns, they were addressed immediately and happily. It was clear they wanted us to be pleased with everything that was being done. Since I was home quite a bit, I was asked to give input as to what I would like which was appreciated. Quality items, such as light fixtures, were used. The end result, is a gorgeous yard that we are proud to show. I'm hoping to work with them on the front yard next.

The reason I kept calling Marco back to contribute to the landscaping project was his professional attitude and the fact that he could deliver people who could do what said they could do, at the agreed on time. And they worked well with the entire team. So we got the project done on schedule, without headache.

On Monday (1/18) around 9am in morning the storm drain in our atrium started to back up & flood the atrium & garage. We decided to work with our home warranty company to get the issue resolved. A plumber arrived at 6:30pm to snake the drain. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the problem with the 50ft snake he had & left. I was forced to spend the night checking the atrium every hour & pumping out water when required. When we called the home warranty company around 7:00am Tuesday (1/19) they told us that our warranty was not going to cover the issue if it could not be fixed with a snake. This left me annoyed, frustrated and stressed about trying to prevent further damage to my house from the flooding. Around 8am we started to make phone calls searching for a plumber with a snake longer then 50ft & who could come immediately as storms were scheduled to roll in through out the day. We left messages & got a hold of several people. Some had the equipment, some didn't, some could make it that day, and some couldn't. Around 8:30am we got a call back from MC Plumbing & San Jose Plumbing, they both had the gear & could come out immediately, but MC Plumbing could get out to us sooner & would give a free estimate...winner! Steve showed up at 9:30am. He reviewed the issue & got straight to work trying to snake the drain with a medium duty snake, when that didn't work he pulled out the heavy duty snake & tried to clean the drain twice before delivering the bad news. He believed the drain was broken as he kept hitting a point in the drain where the snake failed to proceed or clean the blockage but produced muddy water. He told me he would need to get a camera to locate the broken section, excavate the pipe & repair it. He provided me with their price for this service & I accepted. He called their dispatch to get a second plumber & the camera needed for the job. At this point Steve & Jesus are now working on the issue. They locate the section with the camera, which thankfully was on under the lawn & not my driveway. The next several hours are spent digging & excavating the pipe. A large section is replaced along with the exit drain & cover. The ground is compacted & level correctly with a slight grade for the pipe to be placed in & buried. The dirt & lawn is then replace & compacted and then the driveway & sidewalk cleaned off. Steve & Jesus completed the job around 3:30pm right as it started to pour! Overall MC Plumbing returned our call in a timely manner; Steve & Jesus were punctual & professional. Their quick response helped relieve a lot of stress about the situation & prevented further damage to my home. They did quality work for a good price & warranty the parts & labor for 1-year. Thanks again!

This was an extremely well managed project with a end result product that is stunning. Rich Kerri and I had a no-nonsense contract that spelled out all the conditions of the project: Final quote, payment phases/timeframe for payment due. I was provided a CAD drawing of the plan, along with plant placement per location and a list of all plant types and gallon sizes they would be planting. Nothing was left ambiguous, every requirement was defined. If you have a question, you have direct email access to the owner. If you have a change, you have direct access to the owner. If you choose to call, you talk to an internal business manager who is well aware of the current in-process jobs (including yours) and can field your questions with high knowledge and offer resolution. My project time duration was 17 days and based on what I perceived in my daily discussions with the on-site supervisor, they had every event/action in the process scripted for each day of work. No time was wasted. Precise start time of work every day (always 7:00 am), precise time for demoltion (jackhammer) work, plenty of heads-up time given to the client for neighbor notification...They used high quality subcontractors (example: Kerri said they would start concrete pour at 7:30 am on a specific day - the concrete pumper was there at 7:25 am and the mixer truck arrived at 7:30 SHARP!). The all-around building materials and concete itself are high-grade and the finish work when laid was top-shelf. Day-to day productivity was excellent. Everytime I stepped out the door (I usually left them alone, only coming out only to make my way to my car for work), the Supervisor (Jorge Rios) made himself available for any question I had. If I did stop with a question, all workers shut down any machine-operated devices immediately without prompting, so there was no noise to talk over. I never had an issue, but if I did, I got every impression they wanted to know exactly what, where and how and then to make every effort to insure my satisfaction. I had some custom touches done, including a "Stonemakers Wall". Jorge personally sculpted the wall and chose the coloring. The work was absolutely flawless. My expectation is to contiue with Kerri Landscaping, assigning them to re-landscaping my back yard. I have a timetable of 12-18 months for a call back to Mr. Kerri in turning the first shovel of dirt on that project. As an experienced homeowner whose had work done by Lanscape contractors in the past, I've found Kerri Lanscaping to be the best high quality value in the Tri-Valley. Without hesitation, I endorse their work. I've been extremely satisfied with how they worked with me and the results they produced.

The job went better than I could have imagined. Scott understood the ?complete picture? of our ideas and goals and was really a partner in the project. Scott was available and responsive as-needed. He even spent two Saturdays with me touring a stone showroom and a nursery. He produced lighting and planting plans as a part of his included services, and has been endlessly patient with me as I wrestle with the plants or material selection for each area of the yard, often settling on his original recommendation. Scott is kind and understanding of circumstances, and easy to communicate with. Fiscally, his bid prices are inclusive of all the little details that I wouldn?t think of and even the unexpected details. I was never charged extra for anything that I was unaware of or disagreed with. Scott does NOT ?nickel-dime? you, which as the project unfolds and you see how much work is involved, I REALLY appreciated on a daily basis. We did have several pieces of the project that weren?t in the original bid that were done on a time and materials basis, which I think is a more expensive route, but fair overall. Scott?s workers are great. Both in the work they do and their personalities and attitudes. This turns out to be really important when they are at your house every day for 3 months! Eliobert, the foreman, was particularly remarkable. He and his team worked every day from start to finish of the project. He is a jack-of-all-trades, laying stone, installing lighting, welding, plumbing, grading for drainage, detailed building/woodworking? and he did it all well. I really am impressed how the same crew can do all the various jobs so well. I am very critical of workmanship, too! The few times that I questioned the quality of a job, they were either already working on improving/replacing/doing it over, or else happily obliged. Eliobert was often knocking on the door to ask me about each design decision?from exacting the curve of the planting beds, to walking through the neighborhood to look at gate examples, to precise placement of sprinkler heads, which I really valued. I usually asked?and followed?his opinion; he has a lot of experience and I really appreciated his input. I hummed and hawed over each decision, but he and his crew were endlessly patient. There were several instances where they had to undo and redo work that they had just done for one reason or another. It was all such hard labor; moving the same pile of dirt several times? taking up the bricks they had just laid? but the crew maintained a positive attitude and didn?t even slow down. I was thoroughly impressed daily. I now have beautiful front and back yards. Scott and Eliobert gently guided my decisions along the way, and we are SO happy with the outcome. I was incredulous of the bid amounts when we shopped our plans around, but now it is clear how much work is really involved; Scott was very fair in pricing. I will continue to use Landscape Solutions for our outdoor needs in the future (they can do pretty much anything!) and recommend them to neighbors and friends without hesitation. This happens often, as we receive complements from people walking by on almost a daily basis. Having fully renovated our last 3 homes, and have thus worked with countless tradesmen and work crews, I can say that Landscape Solutions has been one of the best experiences all-around. These are your guys!
