Why is there no block for adding a URL to image (not in caption)?

I don’t get why there’s no block to create a clickable image?
This seems like an intuitive feature, yet there’s no way to do it?
I don’t want to have the link as a caption in the image block, but I don’t see any other way…
What is the solution?
When will a block be created for this purposes of a link embedded into the actual image itself; not as a caption.
